Before you start, please read this:

In this series, KNOCKED OUT, many people have commented that Knocked Out is SUPER out of character and he may as well be a whole new bot. Ya, I know. And there's a reason for that. It's actually canon that there was a glitch when he was created by the Well of Allsparks, as shown in the quotes below.

"Knock Out's flamboyant traits are simply eccentricities that were caused from a glitch in the Allspark the day he was brought online."

"The reason for his somewhat flamboyant nature is because of a glitch in the Allspark the day he was created."

In this universe, that glitch never happened, and he created as a normal bot. He started out as the normal Knockout we all know, and, at the beginning, he may seem like himself, but this lack of flamboyant traits starts shining through further in. A certain 'incident' will cause a mental processor injury, causing his behavior to be altered all together to a bot who is more compassionate and, yeah yeah, normal.  You'll read it further in.

Also, I should mention that this book has been receiving an alarming rate of hate, to the point of death threats. Because of that, it's going to get rewritten. If you see this, then the rewrite is still in progress. If you dońt see this...well, then this old book will be left up just for memories, before its deleted completely.

I hope you understand, and please, enjoy my 13 year old writing.

Ím sorry in advance.

Edit #2, 1.5 years after that last note: It's been four years now since I wrote this book. I'd long expected it to die out and come to a standstill, but it's still getting reads (somehow). It's because it's still getting read that I have to add needed trigger warnings because, uhh, I didn't do that before and this book desperately needs it.

There's gore, a bit. Injury, PTSD,
d€ppre$$ion, and death are themes played about here as well. There's also a sewerslide (su!€id3) attempt in heres, that's the biggest one.

These aren't topics that should be thrown around as writing plots lightly, they're serious matters that should be talked and written about with the utmost consideration and research. I have grown as a writer since I last wrote this book and understand now that my use of these topics in this book is wrong and insensitive, and I do apologize. Younger me was naïve and ill informed on said topics, so please don't take anything written here to heart. This doesn't excuse my actions, but please know I am aware that the way they're written is wrong and a horrible example on how to use these topics. These are real things that happen to real people, not something that should be thrown into a plot just because.

Uhh yeah also this is not getting rewritten, despite the previous edit and title. For now, it shall serve as a Time Capsule of a project young teen me was passionate about and executed extremely poorly.

Thank you for taking the team to read this. <3

"WHERE IS MY BUFFER!"

Bumblebee jumped, placing a hand over his spark chamber. He looked up from his game of cyber-cards (Cybertronian version of Cards), at Arcee, and Smokescreen, then down at Miko. Arcee gave him an exasperated sigh.
"Knockout up to his shenanigans again?" She asked.
"You know Knockout; one tiny mark on his finish, and he goes beserk." Bee replied
"Who knows how Megatron ever put up with him." Smokescreen snickered. Bee gave him a look.
"Ok, Smokecreen, Cough it up. Where'd you hide it?"
Smokescreen snickered again. "Oh, it's awesome! Inside of the Doc's toolbox. Surprised we haven't heard "What is this doing in here!?" Ha! He'll never find it!" Smokescreen mimicked Ratchet.
"Mmmph! Good one. He deserves it, that fragging 'Con" Arcee replied.
"That's cold, dude." Bumblebee gave Smokescreen a fist bump. "By the way, your bleeding." He pointed towards his cards, which were pointed out in plain view.
"Scrap!"

It took a lot to make Knockout cry; he had locked away any negative feelings when he had joined the Decepticons. Yet, concealed by a wall,  he had heard the entire conversation; the harsh comments made in his honor had been enough to bring a tear or two to his optic. The red bot leaned against the wall, and sank down. He had never been truly appreciated, not on the Nemesis, nor here either.
"Maybe," he thought, "Maybe joining the Autobots was a mistake." He thought back to that moment, when he had felt a sense of wrong going with the Decepticons. He didn't know what it was that compelled him to switch sides, yet as soon as the Autobot symbol had been imprinted over the Purple 'Con symbol, it had felt as if a century-old weight had been lifted. Knockout felt a tear slip out of his optic, and wiped it away quickly. He continued to listen; he couldn't leave, not just yet.

"Hey Miko, your awfully silent. Everything ok?" Bee asked. Knockout tensed, ready for the insults.
"As a matter of fact...NO! Everything is NOT ok!" The girl bursted out, startling everyone, including Knockout. "Don't you understand how rude that is? Knockout is trying his hardest, but you won't even give him a chance. Sure, he's done some things in the past that came off as evil, but he's changed, I can sense it. I'm positive he regret those things, and is truly sorry, and here you are, treating your new teammate like a piece of scrap!" Miko hung her head down, a tear trickling down her cheek. "And here I was thinking you accepted change, Bee, all of you. So much for Mr. Nice Bot."
Bee froze at the sudden outburst, along with the others. Miko got up, throwing her cards on the ground, and walked off to the Human area. Knockout froze also, then smiled.
"Well, what do you know? Fleshy actually stood up for me." This lifted his spirit, just a little, and he got up. Suddenly, a call came in.
"Optimus to Base, come in."
Ratchet walked into the room, and answered. "Ratchet here."
"Send the rest of the team over, including yourself. We have located a large supply of energon and require all help possible to reach it."
"What about Knockout?"
The line was silent for a moment.
"He can man the Space Bridge."
Knockout scoffed. Even Optimus Prime didn't trust him.
"On our way" Ratchet responded, and yelled "Knockout!!!"
Knockout straightened himself, and used the shine of the finish on his arm to make sure there was no evidence that he had spilled a tear. Then, he strolled in, hands behind back, whistling the Darth Vadar theme.
"You called, Doc?"
"First of all, don't call me doc. Second of all, man the bridge until we get back." Ratchet typed in coordinates, and walked over to the platform. Bee, Smokescreen, and Arcee followed.
"You coulda said please." Knockout mumbled, as he pulled the lever.  Who was he kidding? Ratchet never said please.
The 3 younger bots disappeared through the swirling green and blue mass. Right before Ratchet stepped in, he whirled and jabbed a finger at Knockout.
"And for the love of Primus, don't break anything. I might need it." Then, he disappeared through the portal, and it closed, leaving Knockout alone.  For a second, he stood, staring at where the portal had been, and sighed and started searching for Ratchet's tool box. As he continued his search, he heard whimpering coming from the Human Area. He ignored it for sometime, until it started to get on his nerves. How much can a human girl cry? Giving up on his search, Knockout trudged over to the ledge where the weeping girl sat on a couch, and leaned against the wall, listening to the quiet whimpers.
"Hey."
Knockout looked up to the ledge, where Miko was looking down at him, her eyes puffy and face disturbed.
"Hey kid, thanks, for, y'know, defending me back there." He mumbled.
"You heard that?" Knockout nodded. "No probs."
It was silent for a moment. "Why?"
Miko stares at him, confused.
"Why'd you defend me? I've done some awful things in the past, and I thought no one was ever going to accept me."
Miko smiled. "You reminded me of myself." Knockout cocked his helm to the side. "When my parents sent me to live here in Jasper, word had already spread, and people bullied me, just because I too, had done some regrettable things." She sighed. "It was Jack who first defended me, and became my friend. When I heard them talking about you like that, it triggered the memories. I just didn't want you to feel the same as I had." She smiled again. "Also, I know you've changed."

Knockout was left shocked, his mouth hanging open. "Ya know, your not so bad. And I have changed, haven't I?" He boasted. Miko laughed at the sudden comment. She then noticed a large scratch on Knockouts side, which she guessed had started the previous outburst.

"Oh, by the way, Doc's toolbox is on the computer in his berthroom. I thought you might be looking for it." Knockout's eyes lit up, as he started off into the hall, yelling "Finally!" Miko giggled again, and bursted out laughing when she heard "AAAAAAHHHHHHH! Bliss!" and the whirring of a buffer.
