Knockout peeked out the crack of the door, watching as drones swarmed the corridor. He seemed to be doing this a lot lately. Through the mass of purple armor, down the long hallway, he could just barely see the door to the medical bay.
The door that would lead him to Nightstreak.
"So..." Knockout jumped at the sudden voice in his audio receptor, this time keeping his mouth shut.
"How're we gonna get past the welcoming committee?"

"Primus, Steve. Stop doing that." Knockout hissed. Arcee, who was leaning against the wall, rolled her optics. While Cullen just shook his helm slowly.

"You two bicker like sparklets." Arcee remarked.

"More like sparklings." Cullen added. Arcee shot him an approving look.

"He started it." Steve pointed to Knockout.

"Me! What did I do?!" He hissed back.

"Just step aside." Arcee walked over to the crack and peeked through.

"There's a vent going into the room." She noticed, then turned to the feuding duo.

"Do you know what's in it?"

"Most likely an air vent."

"Well, if it's an air vent, then then it probably blows into the room. If we can find a way in..."

"Even if we could get in, none of us would fit in it."

Arcee thought for a second.

"What about a motorcycle?"

"A motorcycle could fit, but we wouldn't. I'm the one who has to be reunited with Nightstreak, not you."

Arcee growled when she noticed he was right.

"Well, then, smart guy, what do you propose?"

Upon hearing those words, Knockout froze. Where had he heard them before. They seemed so familiar, but he couldn't grasp it. Why did he recognize them so much? They echoed in his mind, as he searched for the answer to the nagging sensation. His spark was thumping quicker and quicker, his breaths speeding up. His entire body became ridged, then the world around him faded away into nothing.

"Well, then, smart guy, what do you propose?"

"We find our way out of this pool and into open water. Hopefully then, we can find some rocks to climb up on."

"Wont that just make us more vulnerable to the water?"

"Moving water won't harm us, as long as we're not in it for too long." Nightstreak sighed and nodded.

"Now, how are we going to get out?" She asked.

"I...I could try my saws again." Knockout tried, and cried out in pain again as the fire grew.

"No! Stop!" She said, tugging on his arm. "It's hurting you!" Knockout shook her away, refusing to stop. He had to get her out. "Knockout, please, stop!" He shook his head, clenching his teeth, trying his very hardest to hold in the pain. It soon reached the zenith, and Knockout cried out in pain.

"Knockout, listen to me, please! You are going to hurt yourself." Nightstreak cried, worried for the mech's wellbeing. She grabbed Knockouts face. "Please!" Knockout started into her pleading eyes, and stopped. Nightstreak sighed with relief and hugged him.

"Please, we'll find a another way to get out, just not one that involves you getting hurt." She murmured, and felt as his arms wrapped around her.
