Miko's eyes fluttered open, and she glanced around the room, stretching. The TV was on, playing the end credits of some movie she had missed. The room was eerily silent, other than the music playing on the tv. Miko flicked it off, and got up. She was alone.
"Knockout?" She called. No answer. "Hello! Anybody?" Silence. The sound of a car engine caught her attention, as Knockout rolled into the base, and transformed, glancing around as he did.
"The others still aren't back?" He asked. Miko shook her head. "Odd, it's been 3 hours."
"Were you out racing again?"
Knockout ignored the question. "Well, it's not my problem." He shrugged.
"Knockout..." Miko said sternly. He looked at her.
"What?"
"They're your team, you should be worried."
"If they were in trouble, they would've called by now."
"You should go check on them."
"But I..."
"Knockout..." Miko placed her hands on her hips, and Knockout sighed in defeat.
"What is it about you Fleshys that makes me want to work." He mumbled as he typed in the previous coordinates and activated the Ground Bridge.
"Stay! Sit...Lie down...um, just don't move." He commanded, then transformed and rolled through the portal. He ended up rolling into a vast field of flowers. He transformed and looked around.
"Looks peaceful enough." He muttered. Suddenly, a purple blast whizzed by his ear, just barely missing him. The red bot cried out and turned around, to face a platoon of decepticon drones, led by Starscream.
"Knockout?!" Starscream cried out.
"Scrap." Thought knockout.
Starscream's face turned from shocked to angry. "You TRAITOR! Decepticons, attack!" Shots started being fired again, as Knockout started to run in the opposite direction. He transformed and continued to drive off.
"After him!" He heard Starscream transform, and the roar of a jet behind him. He saw Starscream approaching through his front-view mirror.
"Gogogogogogogogogogogoggogogogogogo!" Knockout stepped his acceleration pedal all the way down. He noticed a large group of trees approaching. Cover. As he entered the trees, weaving in and out, he noticed the shadow of a jet flying over him. He transformed and yelled
"Aww! The poor Screamy doesn't fit?! Too bad, so sad!" He rubbed his hands on his face, mimicking a baby crying. Everything was silent for a moment, then he heard the sound of a transformation, and something crashed through the canopy a few feet in front of him. Starscream stood up, and aimed a missile at Knockout's spark.
"This little baby's gonna make sure you pay for betraying the Decepticons."
Knockout took of sprinting again, with Starscream right on his tail.
"This is Knockout, requesting immediate back up. Hello? Anyone, do you copy. Hello?!" He only heard static through his link. Squeezing through the tight trees, and leaping over creeks, he couldn't loose Starscream. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a rock face came up in front of him, causing him to stop, and turn around. Starscream approached him, his arm still aimed at him.
"Say bye bye!" He mimicked, and fired. Knockout jumped out of the way, but too late. The missile shot through his shoulder, leaving a gash leaking energon.
