"What do you mean you believe him!" Ratchet bellowed.

"His words are twue, and his actions pure. I do believe he is twying to change."

"Optimus, no offense, but have you lost your fragging mind?" Arcee snapped. "This is Starscream we're talking about! He killed Cliffjumper, then tried to kill me! Why should we ever trust him?"

"Yeah. Decepticon's can't change from bad to good." Smokescreen said Knockout shot him a glare, and he added quickly "Except for Knockout!"

"Smokescreen's got a point, for once." Knockout said. "It wasn't easy for me, and Starscream's closer to Megatron than I was. I doubt he'll be able to do it."

"We must not forget, Starscweam has betwayed the Decepticons before, and twied to kill Megatwon on sevewal occasions, sometimes nearly succeeding. His loyalty to Megatwon has always been questionable." Optimus pointed out.

"I, for one, can't imagine Screamer as an Autobot. He's too...evil."

"Hey!" Starscream snapped, still strapped to the bed in the center of the room. They ignored him.

"Same, and what a coincidence that he just happens to show up when we are weak."

"Sure, like how Nightstreak showing up while Optimus was small is also a "coincidence"."

"YEAH! And we all saw how that came out!"

"Geez, Arcee, that's a little harsh."

"It's not! She attacked us, nearly killed us! She kicked Optimus, for Primus' sake!"

"That wasn't Nightstreak!"

"Oh yeah? Well it sure looked like her!"

"I will admit, I have no idea who that was, but it wasn't Nightstreak!"

"Did you see her optics?! Those were the optics of a 'Con!"

"Nightstreak is not a Decepticon!" Knockout exploded, slicing through the argument like a knife through butter. Everybody held their breath, no one dared to make another remark. Arcee vented angrily.

"Now, if anybody minds, I'm going for a drive." She walked wordlessly to the exit. Bumblebee took a step towards her.

"Alone." She growled the last part, transformed, and rolled out without another sound.

Optics shocked, the rest of the team glanced at each other, with mixed expressions, before landing on Knockout, who now had a tear trickling down his faceplate.

"If we're all done insulting an innocent femme, I'm going to my berth." He said silently, before walking down the hall and disappearing through a door. The base was silent for a moment.

"Um, I'm still here."

"Shut up, Starscream."

"Ok."
