Qrow P.O.V

I set my flask on the table while judging a seagull because it had the odeasity to land it's ass on MY DECK!? Wait a minute is it mine or Ruby's?

As I sat there judging the seagull I heard the distant crys of "Aye, mate!" Figuring it to be my imagination I brush it off, until the cries continued.

"I'm begging you! Have mercy!" No, its definitely not my imagination.

I ran to the edge of our beauty and began to scan the sea, it was a bit hard to focus since Ruby was yelling at me over a small yellow raft directly in our path... Oh, found the owner to our voice.

I hollered at Ruby to go get a rope so we can throw it over to the...uh...boy? But Ruby had a different plan she decided to swim after him. I watched Ruby climb the mast and swing off a rope, and graze the side of the ship and fall into the sea.

"Ouch." I said while wincing at the sound she made when she hit the water. She'll be feeling that for a week.

Scarlet P.O.V.

I watched from the raft I was in, as a girl swung from a rope and hit the water. hard.

"Damn...that had to hurt...a lot" I said to the crab who I still couldn't bear to throw overboard.

"I hope she's alright..." I watched her head pop up from the water. She started to swim my way, I think she's trying to save me.

Ruby P.O.V

Okay so my rescue plan did NOT go as well as I wanted it to but hey at least I'm in the water.

I saw the boy looking my way, so I started swimming toward him, my hip and lower thigh were killing me. I did not want to hit the water on my left side.

As I started my way over I saw him talking to something. A crab? This guy might be crazy. Once I got close to him I noticed two things. One he had a crab, two why is there a random loaf of bread???

"Hey you alright? Need a lift or something mister?" I said with slight caution in my voice because he is a stranger.
