I raced to the window, Thalia at my heels I looked over into the Manhattan streets below. Our minor demigods were still tearing the monsters and Liberals to shreds, especially Nemesis, but I did see someone approaching the Hotel, it was a young couple who was everything the rebels would've hated. It was an attractive older man with a young lady on his arm, they were dressed like a wealthy couple on a fancy date, they looked kind of cute if they weren't surrounded by death and destruction. The man looked about mid-twenties wearing black pants, shiny doc martins, a white Tee and a black leather jacket he wrapped an arm around the young girl at his side, she looked between sixteen and eighteen way younger than her male escort, she wore a long, pink, silky dress with a low back and her long wavy blonde hair was pulled back in a half ponytail tied with pink ribbons, she held onto his arm, he Also had long brown hair that went to his waist. I ran down the elevator and headed to the courtyard, with Thalia, Bianca, and Piper serving as bodyguards, the young couple sat down at a slightly broken stone table. "are you miss Truax?" The man asked I sat down across from him and bowed my head, "yes, I am." I said formally "well, we shouldn't delay I am Hercules, god of strength and this is my wife Hebe goddess of youth," the very next thing I did was open my mouth and nearly pass out.
I was over a hundred percent sure I was blushing and sweating, wow i thought. Of course I was no stranger to looking into the faces of god's, or monsters, but come on! This was the Hercules! Like, One of the greatest Heroes of all time. I didn't know weather to throw up or faint, I mean yes, I could look Anubis or Achilles dead in the eyes, no questions asked, but I was absolutely shocked! I had run into two! Brilliant Ancient Greek heroes in one week, go me! I thought. They sat down at a stone table in the Hotel courtyard, Hebe patted her husbands arm, "I would assume you are familiar with me," he asked "Of course!" I beamed with awe "you're Hercules, Slayer of the nemean Lion, Son of Zeus, Hero of Men..." "that's not exactly correct..." he cut me off, I straightened up and waited for him to elaborate "I was born Alcites in Thebes, my Greek title is actually Herakles, Hercules is my Roman name." I could swear that my Eyes bugged out of my face. Having three different names would drive anyone, especially me over the bend with confusion, "Than What do you go by?" I asked with concern, "Mainly my fellow gods and my Wife," he said gesturing to Hebe, "call me Hercules as that's how most people know me," I nodded in understanding, "what do you want with me?" I asked "you're the daughter of my Mentor Athena and the brightest demigod of your age, Achilles told me about you, the curse..." I blushed and placed my fist in front of my face to hide my shock "no pitiful loser can achieve what you did, you're a brace girl and the most Heroic I can see that..." I pulled my jacket collar up to my mouth to hide my face more "Wow..." I said, I wasn't used to this much praise. "Many people assume being a Hero makes you invincible they're wrong..." Hercules explained while drumming his fingers on my sleeve. "Being a hero means you're braver enough to do what's needed, You've shown the god's true bravery Miss Truax, I can tell you're no show boat," I kept pulling up my collar, I was turning redder than a Strawberry, "You only see you're goals and know you can succeed, you've taken your pain and turned it into fuel to make you stronger I admire that," I almost fell off the bench into the gravel. "I see you as that one Unsung hero, the one who will do what's right even when no one is doing such things..." said Hebe her eyes twinkling. "Why do you think the loneliest people are the kindest, the Saddest people smile the brightest, the most damaged the wisest and the Ugliest people have the best personality?" I raised a curious eyebrow "Why?" I asked, Hebe chuckled her laugh sounded like a little girl on a swing set "Because they don't wait to see anyone suffer the way they do, you demigods have better morals than you're enemy..." she said smiling at her husband, "How?!" I practically shouted with confusion "You follow the golden rule, you're feared and hated by all mankind but all you try to be is nice and understanding, they've been beaten and bullied their whole life, and they think the way to combat that is to massacre everyone. You don't solve bullying with more bullying," said Hercules with paternal understanding. "So how do we defeat them, they don't answer to kindness..." I said, I knew that peace and happiness never solved anything. If it really did anything it made people more mad. "You need balance..." said Hebe "you need to overpower them with a force they don't have," an Idea hit me like a Zeus thrown thunderbolt, "I got it!" I yelled. Grabbed my bow and quiver and tore off "No wonder you're the greatest hero of all time!" I shouted, grabbed Bianca and ran. I had the perfect Idea.
