"Amazing isn't it?" Maya glanced at the bottle. She picked up the vile and swirled the liquid around. "So beautiful, yet so deadly." She grinned. Xavier watched her with slight fear. "Um yeah..." Maya sighed. "I guess I have to send you home now. Goodnight darling." Xavier raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean goodnigh-" Maya hit him over the head as hard as she could with a book. Xavier fell back onto the ground. He closed his eyes and saw flashes of what had just occurred. Xavier Saw flashes of things from his past, he saw the death of his father.

Xavier opened his eyes as soon as he saw his father flateline. He shut up and enhaled deeply. He stopped to catch his breath before looking around himself. John ran over to where Xavier layed. "Calm down, Calm down." John patted Xavier on the shoulder. "Deep breaths." Xavier let out a breath. "Do you feel alright?" John layed his hand over Xavier's forehead. Xavier pulled away his hand. "Yeah I feel fine. I just have a head ache. Um...what happened?" John sighed. "Amy came to us and told me you ran into the woods. So we went looking for you..."

John looked at him sympathetically. "I found you out cold on the forest floor, looked like you slipped and hit your head. You've been out for two days." Xavier starred at John confused. "No...no that can't be right. I was found by a girl. She took me in and doctored me. Maya was just here." John's eyes widened. "Maya?" Xavier looked away. "Nevermind...thank you. For taking care of me." John smiled. "Believe it or not it was your brother's idea for me to watch you. Oh I almost forgot!" He pulled the necklace from his pocket.

Xavier looked shocked. "Here. I took it off when I found you." Xavier took it from his hand. "Thank you John." Xavier got up from his seat and stumbled. "Oh no you don't." John sat him back down. "You need to stay in bed until further notice. Doctor's orders." He patted Xavier on the shoulder and walked out of the room. Xavier sighed and looked out the window. He slid on the necklace and sighed. He layed back down and rubbed the stone. 'Maybe it was just a bad dream.' He thought to himself as he closed his eyes.

About time Xavier started to dose off his phone buzzed. Xavier opened his eyes and looked at his cell. He hadn't gotten a message since Seth took them in. There was a text from Jane. Xavier smiled happily and looked at the message. "Hey. Luke told me what happened. Are you alright?" Jane said. Xavier typed as quickly as he could. "I'm fine. You?" Jane didn't reply. Xavier waited and waited, but she never responded. Xavier sighed in disappointment and sat up from the bed. He rubbed his eyes and attempted to stand, he stumbled at first but soon balanced himself.

Xavier stepped out of the room and slowly made his way downstairs. He walked to the door and slid on his coat. Xavier was determined to find Maya. ' It couldn't have only been a dream.' Xavier sighed and walked outside. It was colder then last time, but he carried on about his business. When outside he took his time down the road. He waited and waited for her voice to call out to him. Nothing could be heard. "But...it felt so real." He sat in the grass. Xavier sniffled falling onto his back. He toyed with the necklace.

Suddenly he saw Amy leaning over him. "Why are you laying on the ground? It's to cold for that." Amy helped Xavier to his feet and smiled. Xavier looked down. "Hey what's wrong?" Amy grabbed his hand. Xavier turned pink and pulled away his hand. "N-nothing...I just have something I need to do." Xavier ran toward the woods and disappeared into the shadows. Amy felt annoyed and ran towards the tower. She knocked on the door and sighed. John opened the door and smiled. "Oh hello Amelia. I'm sorry, but Xavier is resting." Amy nodded.

"Yeah okay. I'm not here to see him anyway, I've come to see Luke." John raised an eyebrow. "Is that so?" Witcher rolled his eyes in disgust. "Luke! You have a visitor!" John walked upstairs quietly expressing his disagreement on the situation. Luke hurried down the steps and nearly tripped when seeing it was Amy. "O-Oh hey, what's up Amy?" He smiled confidently and leaned in the doorway. "Xavier is acting weird." Amelia sighed. "Can I take your offer to hang out right now?" Luke smiled softly. "Yeah sure." He grabbed his jacket and his wallet, then he walked out with her.

Xavier wondered around in the woods searching for Maya. He couldn't hear her voice. Soon he started to lose hope. He rubbed the gem on his necklace. Suddenly a purple smoke surrounded him. Xavier couldn't see until he heard a voice call out to him. It was Maya. Maya stepped out of the wall of smoke and it vanished in an instant. Xavier felt conflicted. He was happy that it wasn't just a dream, but terrified that it was real as well. Maya looked around and turned to him. "What?" She threw her hands out. "Oh, I-I just um...I didn't think it was real." Xavier shrugged.

Maya looked up and down Xavier. She cracked a smile and tried not to laugh. "You do know you're wearing your night clothes and a jacket right?" Maya held back her laughter. Xavier turned red and zipped his jacket. "Oh um yeah...totally. I was just in a rush." Maya smiled. "Well sense I'm here, why not show me around? I haven't been outside the woods for a long, long time." Xavier shrugged once again. "I mean...I suppose I coul-" "Great! Sounds fun!" Maya enterupted. "Let's go!" Xavier smiled awkwardly at her excitement.
