Seth smiled,"nice, isn't it? I inherited this place a while back." Seth walked up to the large tower and pulled his keys from his pocket. Seth mumbled as he sorted through the mess of keys in he hand. Xavier spun on his heels looking at his surroundings. After a few seconds he spotted what looked like a black cat disappear around the corner of the building. Seth finally found the right key and opened the large oak doors. The doors looked old and were decorated with elaborate drawings. As the doors opened the twins couldn't believe their eyes.

The two of them walked inside following their uncle out of fear of getting lost in the large house. The room they entered looked like a living area. A red velvet couch sat in front of a lit fireplace with a deer head hanging over the mantle. Luke immediately plopped down on the couch in front of the fire place and stripped his jacket. Seth laughed,"I see you made yourself at home."

Xavier stumbled into the kitchen, it was pearly white with a black stove and fridge. Xavier continued to move around the house. "Follow me to your room Zave." Seth said as he motioned up the stares. 'Zave? No one has called me that in years.' Xavier thought to himself as he followed his [possibly crazy] uncle up the steps to the second floor. The second floor hall was just a balcony on the edge of all four walls leading to multiple rooms inside the square. Xavier looked up,"How many floors are there?" "Four."said Seth as he unlocked the door to Xavier's room. "But the fourth is only an attic." Seth smiled as he started down the stares. "Feel free to take a look around."

Xavier entered the room he would be staying in for now on. It had a fairly high ceiling and a bed that had what looked like a canopy over the top hanging on four silver poles. The whole room was decked out in cherry red, velvet, and maroon colors. The tower was so beautiful and had so many rooms that it could be a hotel. The room matched the color of Xavier's eyes. He walked over to the mirror and looked at his appearance. His pitch black hair glisened in the subtle candle light. Luke and Xavier were completely identical except for one small detail. Luke has icy blue eyes while Xavier has flaming red eyes that really stand out. The room sites him perfectly, except it looked like it hadn't been redecorating since the Victorian era. Xavier sighed as he fell onto the surprisingly comfortable bed and fell and fell asleep.

When he awoke a the black cat was sitting on the ledge outside the window. Xavier was shocked and confused as to how it even got up here. Xavier opened the window and pulled the cat inside carefully. After making sure the cat was safely on the floor he quietly shut the windows. "Poor thing, don't do that you could get hurt." Xavier sat on the bed as the cat jumped onto his lap. He petted the cat for a bit. "Nice to know I've made a new friend." He laughed to himself. The cat purred looking up at him with it's big yellow eyes. The cat's eyes looked haunted by a beautiful magic. They looked as bright as the moon in the night sky.

Luke knocked on the door multiple times. For a minute Xavier ignored him, but he continued to knock until Xavier finally let him in. "What do you want?" He said annoyed while holding the cat in his arms. Luke sneezed,"oh great, he has a cat-" he sneezed again. "You know I'm-" Luke sneezed once more. "Allergic." Xavier laughed as he put down the cat. Luke sniffled,"thank you, Seth told me to let you know dinner will be ready soon." "Okay, be down there in a bit." Luke yawned as he turned and slid down the railing of the stare case. Xavier rolled his eyes at Luke's disregard for rules. The cat weaved itself in and out between Xavier's feet. Xavier smiled down at the cat which he could now identify as a male. "Good boy."he said as he petted him.

After spending a bit more time with the odd cat Xavier made his way downstairs. Seth smiled,"the dinning room is in there." The twins entered the dinning area and took a seat. They sat quietly until Seth entered with a cart of food. He sat plates covered in meat and exotic fruits a and cups in front of them, then he proceeded to fill the cups. "So how do you like it here?" Seth smiled as he took his seat. "It's great, thank you for letting us stay with you." Luke smiled.

Xavier spoke awkwardly,"um...I like your cat." Seth looked a bit stunned. "My cat? Oh! Yes! My cat! He sleeps in the attic and doesn't really...like meeting new people. Well it's nice that he is warming up to you." Seth smiled awkwardly. Xavier just continued to eat his food. "Yep." Xavier was quiet for the rest of dinner while Luke and Seth chatted to each other. After dinner Xavier made his way to his room and fell back onto his bed. Xavier quietly closed his eyes and fell asleep. The black cat jumped onto the bed and curled up beside him as if watching, protecting his new friend.
