Chapter 22
“Ah! I’m so excited!” I told Danielle for about the fiftieth time, bouncing in my seat.
Dani laughed at me before looking at Liam who sat a few rows ahead of us. “Hey Li, when will you be done? Kor’s about to jump out of her seat!”
“Just one sec!”
I bounced around again. We were on the boys’ private jet on our way to Dallas, Texas. Since it was such a long flight, we had decided we’d mash up the songs Good Time by Owl City featuring Carly Rae Jepson, I’m Sexy and I Know It by LMFAO, and Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera and record a video to it. All five boys were on the plane, along with Danielle, Eleanor, and me, plus Josh had decided to come with us so it was going to be awesome. Niall and I had matching outfits on, just like Danielle and Liam, and Louis and Eleanor did. Niall and I each had on baggy gray sweatpants and a white tank, Dani and Liam had on black sweats and a white t-shirt, then Louis and El had on their matching Coca Cola pajamas. The rest of the boys just had on whatever they felt like wearing.
“It’s all set!” Liam yelled.
I clapped and squealed. “Yay! Let’s do this!”
Everybody got into their places while Liam connected his computer to the intercom so we could hear the music. We had already practiced this a million times so we knew exactly what to do. Paul grabbed the camera and got ready to start filming.
The beginning was very corny, but I loved it. It went like this:
I flipped through a magazine. “Hey Dan, what time is it?”
Danielle shrugged then nudged the seat in front of her with her foot. “El, what time is it?”
Eleanor twisted around her seat to look at Danielle then winked at the camera. “It’s always a good time.” She said in a singsong voice.
Danielle and I looked at each other across the aisle like we were confused, then the music started and we smirked. It started on Carly’s solo.
Good morning and good night.
On that part we snaked toward each other, me crouched lower in front of Dani so you could see her and her leaning far to the right. On the beats after those lyrics we did three chest pops with our arms pulling into our chests.
I wake up at twilight.
We snaked the other way, repeating the chest popping on the beats.
It’s gonna be alright. We don’t even have to try.
On that part Danielle and I started strutting forward, raising our arms up like we were pumping up a crowd.
It’s always a good time!
We jumped up and down, fist pumping the air then turning so I was facing the seats on the left and Danielle was facing the seats on the right.
Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh. Whoa-oh-oh-oh.
I went down on my knees and came up again while Danielle did a series of chest pops while switching arms. Then we fist pumped around ourselves in a circle, jumping up and down until we changed which way we were facing. We continued doing that until the part where Liam would cut the song.
It’s always a good time!
On that part, Danielle and I both dropped to our knees and pointed at the seats behind us as Josh back-flipped over two seats. Then we fell down out of the camera view as the next song started.
I’m sexy and I know it.
On that part Paul turned the camera toward Louis who was now standing in the middle of the aisle. Lou looked at the camera then executed a perfect Louis Tomlinson hip-thrust.
Paul turned the camera back on Danielle and I who were now joined by Eleanor. On the music after those lyrics, I started model strutting then struck a pose and went off camera. Eleanor did the same thing as did Danielle.
The song cut ahead a little as Paul turned the camera on Niall and Harry.
No shoes, no shirt, and I still get service. Watch!
Harry held up his foot and pointed at it to show he had no shoes on while Niall stood there in a ridiculous flexed position with no shirt on.
Girl look at that body.
Paul turned the camera on us three girls to show we each had our hands over our mouths like we were shocked.
Girl look at that body.
Now the camera was on Liam and Zayn who were standing there holding their shirts up and pointing at their abs.
Girl look at that body.
Paul then turned the camera on Josh and Niall who were both flexing and making funny faces that made it look like they were in pain.
I work out.
Now we saw Louis and Harry standing on the airplane seats with their shirts off, just standing there giving the camera cheeky smiles. The fans were going to love this. The whistling for Moves Like Jagger started and Paul recorded all of us scrambling to our next positions. Now was time to lip sync and the girls were up first.
And it goes like this. Take me by the tongue and I’ll know you. Kiss me ‘til you’re drunk and I’ll show you. All the moves like Jagger. I’ve got them moves like Jagger.
On the part where Adam does the ‘I’ve got them mo-o-o-o-o-o-oves like Jagger’, we stood up and shook our hips them struck the most ridiculous pose we could come up with. Since I was in the middle, I threw both my hands up in the air, while Danielle and Eleanor both ended up blowing a kiss at the camera. Paul turned just in time to see Zayn, Liam, and Louis pop up over the row of seats in front of us. Their lip syncing involved hilarious facial expressions.
I don’t need to try to control you. Look into my eyes and I’ll own you with them moves like Jagger. I’ve got them moves like Jagger.
This time when Adam did the ‘m-o-o-o-o-oves’ part, the boys did a Z-snap then acted like they flipped their hair. Louis totally came up with that. The song cut ahead as Niall, Josh, and Harry popped up.

On their drawn out moves part, they each did flip over their seats. They just had to show off a little. On the next part we all grouped together to lip sync, and yes, more ridiculous facial expression took place.
I don’t need to try to control you. Look into my eyes and I’ll own you with them moves like Jagger. I’ve got them moves like Jagger. I got them mo-o-o-o-o-o-o-oves like Jagger.
On Christina’s part we got into the aisle and just started dancing around. It probably looked like we were high or something, but it was so much fun.
We just jammed until the music stopped then we all yelled, “WE GOT THEM MOVES LIKE JAGGER!” and struck our best pose before dying of laughter.
“Cut!” Paul yelled, cracking up. “That was perfect.”
I laughed as Niall picked me up and spun me around. “That was so much fun!”
“We totally need to make more of these videos,” Zayn said.
“Erm, basically… I agree with Zayn,” Harry added.
“As soon as we land, I’ll upload it to YouTube. Now you guys need to get back to your seats, the pilot says we’re about to hit some turbulence.” Paul pointed at all of the seats around us.
I sat down next to Niall and smiled, wrapping my arms around his and leaning my head against his shoulder. Today had definitely been a good time.
