luca's point of view

Val's POV

I wake up feeling horrible. My neck is in absolute pain. It takes me a few seconds to get used to the light. I see Luca walk in. "L-Luca?" I mutter, wondering if it was actually him. Once again my neck shoots pain throughout my entire body. "Hey, don't talk alright. You need to rest before you can talk." I smile lightly at him. Good thing I knew sign language. It was American Sign Language, but I knew it. I reply with okay. He looks at me weirdly. He must've been confused.

"Do you know sign language?" He asks, now I'm confused. Did he know sign language? I slightly nod my head and sign yes. He smiles and says, "I keep learning new things about you." I blush. And then he walks out. I decide to try and get some sleep, and hopefully by the time I wake up it'll feel better.

Luca's POV

I walk into the office. Luigi and Chris sat side by side, looking at the monitors. "Have we tracked down Alex and Violet yet?" They both nod, but they both have a look of worry on their faces.

"Capo, there's something you should see," Chris says to me. I walk over to the computer. It was Alex and Violet. Violet was in a small cell. But the thing that surprised me the most was that she was in fact pregnant. But it looks like she's losing blood. And a lot of it. I keep watching waiting to see what'd happen. Alex comes into view. "You're only alive until this baby is born. Then you're gone." He laughs and then hits her. She starts to cry, holding her stomach.

My number one rule was to never kill kids. Even though I was some 'scary bad guy' I'd never want a kid killed. Little did I know, there was someone in the room that shouldn't have been. And they watched what I just watched. "What are you doing? You're supposed to be relaxing." She signs something to me.

I stare at her for a minute. What did she just say? Although I was rusty, I could still remember how to sign. Stella and I learned for Adriano since he had been hard of hearing.

She had said, 'what is going on?' I reply, surprising Chris and Luigi. I smile, knowing I never told them I knew ASL. "Violet is getting abused, and she's most likely not going to survive. After the baby is born Alex wants to kill her." I was going to save Violet though, but only for Val. She angrily signs some things to me. I can't help but laugh at how stupid she looked. "Alright calm down princess. I'm going to save her. But we're killing Alex. Whether you want me to or not. Bastard thinks he can just come and make threats, then use you as bait. I mean if you'd like, you can pull the trigger but, it's not something you can really come back from. As soon as you kill him, you'll feel different. You'll either feel better, or worse. You choose?" I say, giving her time to think about it. She quickly responds.

"Luca! Who do you think I am? I would never ever want to." I'm surprised she's talking. This type of surgery really hurts and leaves you sore for days. Maybe the medicine was kicking in? She surprises herself to as she opened her eyes a little more. "I can speak! Hah." She says triumphantly, making me and Luigi laugh. Chris was too focused on the screen. I look back at the screen. Alex was yelling at her. He had a gun up to her stomach. She was struggling to get away.

"Oh my god. He can't do this! Please save her? We have too! Oh my god." I hear Val say from behind me. Because she was so short, when I turned around, her face ran right into my chest. I can't help but laugh loudly. She rubs her nose, then looks up to me. "Please Luca, I don't care what she did! This is horrible. She's pregnant!" I smile at her, her heart was so big. She must've forgiven Violet already.

"We'll save Violet and kill Alex alright?"

She nods, then smiles at me as she walks out of the room. "You really know how to calm her down man," Luigi says to me. A smirk, finding its way onto his lips. "What's that supposed to mean?" I ask, questioning him and his stupid ways. "Oh, nothing. Nothing at all." He says fully smiling now. "Whatever. Now go home, I need time to think of plane," He smiles. "Alone." I say smiling evilly at him. He shrugs his shoulders and walks out. "Whatever capo," And was gone. Chris looks at me. "We're saving the poor woman right? That's honestly horrible he'd do this to her. Especially with his unborn child in her." I nod to him. He slightly smiles and leaves. "Night Capo." He says before closing the door.
