Luca's POV
After I came home from the club that night, I was exhausted. I went to bed, but couldn't sleep. The way I treated her made me feel horrible. The way she looked after I said those few words made me so sad. I get out of the bad and drive to their apartment. I couldn't sleep knowing I hurt her. I find their apartment. I was so close to knocking on the door. Then I hear something.
"Of course I'll tell Luca. Just.. not yet okay?" I immediately turn around and walk to my car. W-What? What did she have to tell me? I drive back home. Once I was back in bed I sit there sadly. My mind coming up with over a hundred different things that could've meant. Was she okay? Did she get hurt? Then I fall asleep.
I wake up stressed. Another long day of shit. I get dressed and drive to the safe house. I meet up with Luigi. "Another shipment was stolen from the dock. Who do you think is stealing." I grunt. This was the fourth shipment of ours stolen. I was fed up. "We get another shipment in three months. Until then, keep looking through footage. I have no idea why people would need to steal our shit." He nods and walks to some of the other members. I open up my work phone.
Javier Garcia: I heard about your shipments disappearing. Mine are too. I've had five shipments gone now.
Me: Fuck. Who would need to steal that many shipments. Every mafia is filthy rich. And has all the supplies they need.
Javier Garcia: Maybe not every mafia. Maybe there is one who is secretly struggling. But their reputation is too important to them and they're afraid to speak up and ruin it.
Me: and maybe you're right. Thank you, man. I'll get started on researching each mafia soon.
Javier was the boss of the Spanish Mafia. We were pretty close. Which was good. I needed allies, not enemies. I get in touch with a few other mafias to see how they were doing. Financially and stuff. Turns out all of my allies were just fine. So it left me with the enemies. My first guess was the stupid fucking Russians.
Three months had passed. Finally, the shipment would be coming in. I had me and four of my men come out on this mission. We go to the docks. We find really good hiding places, where our thieves wouldn't see us. An hour passes, and the boat finally arrives. The shipments were dropped off. Finally, men surrounded the shit. They had a truck and were about to load it. But I shot two of them in the head. Luigi shot one, and so did Chris. Once we make sure no more were coming, we leave our spots and go to the men.
I lift up their masks. "Fucking Russians," I say. Luigi looks at me. "Looks like whoever is the new boss, they need supplies to probably start growing. Looks like we might need to go to Russia and just eliminate them all." Luigi nods. Chris and Mario join us. "Well, well, well. Who do we have here." A voice says, coming up behind us.
"You killed my men. You know what that means." He slowly turns to Mario and shoots him. "NO!" I yell. But it was too late. "You sick fucking bastard. He was one of my main men. I bet none of the guys we killed were even fully trained." He smiles and shrugs. "So." A smile lingering on his lips. "Why are you stealing our shit." Luigi spits at him.
"Well, your little girlfriend killed our boss. He didn't really trust any of us, so all of the money and supplies we had is somewhere else and we have nothing. Why not steal your shit and start building our mafia up." He smiles. I rolled my eyes at him. Then laugh.
"The difference between my mafia and yours, I can trust my men and women. I don't need to steal or rely on others to build my mafia up." While I was distracting Stella's ex-husband, Emma was coming up behind him. She has a gun and then, she shoots him. He yells out in pain. His yell echoing around us. He collapses. "Heh. I see what you did. But why didn't you just get it over with? Shoot me in the head?" He mutters, spitting out blood as he talked.
