It took some time to adjust back to this Boston weather but it still felt great to be back home. It was Friday night making my arrival a day earlier than expected. Instead of going straight home to settle in, I went straight to Prophets to get things in order seeing as though we had a lot to catch up on. From what I gathered throughout my trip, Bunny really took her role as an interim manager very seriously; giving us weekly check-ins and making sure all the deals we secure before our departure had played out flawlessly. So Bas and I offered her the position permanently. I saw her growth, potential and drive so I had no concerns with her assistance with running the club fulltime. She even took the initiative to hire a couple of new girls who would be starting today since business had been growing rapidly by the weeks. I was entirely grateful that she ran the club smoothly while we were gone but now it was time to get back to work.
The past couple of days I've been occupied with handling my many businesses, mainly my illegal ventures seeing as though I had new responsibilities to take on soon. First things first, I needed to let LK/OHB know their services were no longer going to be required. Our contract expired in a couple of months so we would honor it. I'm just glad we didn't have to use them longer than intended. I rather not have to deal with that nigga Breezy since we both obviously had a mutual dislike towards one another with Amarie being the common denominator. He was so damn stuck on her and he didn't even try to hide it. I wasn't completely bent over that nigga although I had to admit that I did have my concerns. I tried my best to push them to the back of my head because I genuinely feel like Amarie wouldn't do me like that without warning. So I did as she asked of me and ignored that nigga for the sake of her, my piece of mind and not landing a court case. Now that I was home, I planned on cutting all old unnecessary ties; starting with them and creating new ones.
Bas, Bunny and I were having a discussion before all of the girls arrived for the meeting we had set up to introduce the newbies and go over some updates they needed to be aware of. I made a decision to have weekly meetings with all the staff since the club was flourishing beyond what we expected. The supervisorial meetings would take place right before each of those meetings to cover high-level situations. I would meet with the bottle girls one day and the bartenders the next to go over any changes or upcoming events. I worked so damn hard to get this club up and running. The numbers it was doing with clientele and money coming through definitely showed that all of the hard work Bas and I put into this was worth it.
