Six years later....

My babies have grown up so fast, ugh. Everything is mostly the same. The diners are great and so is Tyler. Jax is now the star quarter back of Franklin high school, Elijah is a wide receiver, and Shelby and Haven are cheerleaders.

The cool October wind fills the stadium as people pile into the seats. Tyler and I are huddled together underneath our umbrellas as rain pours down on us. The boys disappear into a blow up eagle.
We go through all the routine of every football game and they start playing.

The boys still play with the same boys he did wen he was a eleven. His team learned sign language so they could make him comfortable. They did it to surprise him and it did. He cried happy tears.

The four of them are all seventeen and thriving. Jax and Frankie are together and have been for three years. She even asked him out on a date in sign language, it melted my heart. Elijah is single but is a fuck boy. He thinks I don't know about his conquest that sneak in and out my house. Haven and Shelby have boyfriends but they are older. Tyler didn't approve but I got him to somewhat agree to some terms.

I look away from the field when I see Ashlee and Tristan walking up the bleachers. Ashlee looks at me as I look back at the game. Elijah gets the ball and runs towards the end zone and as soon as he reaches it a guy about four times his size tackles him sending him over the big guy towards the end zone. The crowd goes silent as Elijah touches down in the end zone. The crowd roars as we score.

Elijah slowly gets up and tries to catch his breath. Jax runs over to him and signs something and Elijah replies. I look over at Tyler and he smiles at me as he looks at me through the corner of his eye.

"Why this sport? Why not baseball?" He chuckles.

"They love it. You love it. We all love it."

After winning the game, the girls and Tyler and I go to the diner and wait for the boys. I twirl the ice around in my tea. "My mom our boyfriends are coming to the diner..." I nod.

All four of the guys walk in and so does Frankie. They order drinks and then we order food and wait. "So Caleb, Callum, how's college?" Everyone looks between Tyler and the two guys.

"It's okay...majoring in business is hard..." I smile at Callum.

"It's never easy." He lightly chuckles.

"Dad, mom, Frankie and I have something to tell you guys..." Elijah translates his signing.  We all patiently wait for them to tell us.

"We are pregnant..." Frankie signs as she talks. We all stare at them and they stare back.

"What the fucking hell?! You're both fucking seventeen with a fucking life a head of you and you go and get her pregnant?!" I sign fast as I yell.

"Mom calm down. Callum and I are expecting too..." I snap my head towards Shelby and Callum.

"I can't do this..." I get up and walk out the diner.

I call an Uber and go home. I need to calm down before I blow up on everyone. I fill the bath tub up and put bubbles in it. I strip down and climb in.

A knock comes from the door and I look over and see Shelby with red puffy eyes and cheeks. Shelby sits up on the counter and wipes her eyes.

"I'm sorry. It was one time. It was my first time. I wanted it to happen so bad and then when finally happened and was over with I didn't realize we didn't use a condom until it was too late for a morning after pill." I just stare at her. "As for Jax and Frankie...she's been pregnant for four months now. She was told she couldn't have kids and now she's pregnant with twins. You don't how to worry about Elijah because he won't settle down and Haven you know is on the shot. I should've came to you about birth control but I didn't and I'm sorry."
