"He said yes."

It turned silent. OP M.I.F.P were having yet another meeting, and Shizuo had just finished filling them in about last nights' events.

The ruckus started with Erika. "YES!" She screamed, jumping up and down. "I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN! I JUST KNEW IT!!!" The young Fujoshi burst into happy laughter, followed by Shinra and a few others.

The doctor grinned as he pumped a fist into the air. "It's working," He hissed. Then he turned toward Shizuo and added, "I mean, maybe those disruptive fights will finally come to an end. Maybe this is for your own good, Shizuo."

Shizuo looked at him uncomfortably as the rest of the crowd either laughed awkwardly at him, told him congratulations (on the mission, of course), or just stared at him in utter disbelief.

"Hey," Celty was suddenly beside him, tapping away on her phone. "You sure you're ok with this? Dating your enemy, I mean?"

Shizuo sighed. He didn't want Celty to think he was weak, nor did he want her to think he was in love. Because he wasn't. But it wasn't like he was going to collapse and die, right?
"Yeah," The blonde answered honestly. "I'm good."

Celty still looked worried. Shizuo could tell from her body language. He rolled his eyes. "I'll be fine, Celty!"

"Ok," She typed, slowly backing away.

Izaya heard the door open and then swing shut as Namie made her way into his apartment.

Izaya smirked.

"So," He said, approaching her and circling around her like a vulture. "Going to our beloved brother's house daily, are we, now?"

She ignored him completely and burst out laughing the second she looked him in the eye. "Y-you're going out with-Sh-Sh-"

"I know that!" Izaya grumbled, his face forming the darkest shade of red as he turned away.

Namie fell back into laughter.

"Wait!" Izaya silenced her, slicing the air as he snapped back toward her. "How do you know that? We just s-started yesterday." He tried to sound tough, but it was hard when he was admitting that yes, he was going out with Shizuo Heiwajima. But inside, he was happy, and his heart was floating as if it weighed no more than a pebble. He was dating Shizuo Heiwajima!

Namie rolled her eyes and interrupted the raven's thoughts. "Everyone knows! It's all over the news and it's a hit in every magazine."

Izaya raised his eyebrows. "S...Seriously?!"

"Seriously."

The informant flipped out his cellphone and punched in a number.

"Hello? Izaya?" Shiki's voice answered.

"Hello! I wanted to tell you something." Izaya's voice sounded uncertain, as if someone was pitching the volume in his throat high, then low, then high again.

Shiki chuckled. "Nah, Izaya, it's ok. I know. But I wish you could've told me about your sexuality earlier. Maybe like the first time we met?"

Izaya dropped his cellphone.

Sexuality?! I'm not gay! He screamed in his head. Or... Am I?! Am I Bi? Because I still like women...Right?!

"Hello? Izaya?"

Izaya slowly picked up the phone and cleared his throat. "Uh, Shiki-san? I-I'm not gay."

"Oh?! Then you're Bi? Whatever. You still should've told me."

Izaya kept it at that. Better than nothing, right?
After hanging up with Shiki, he called up Shizuo.

"Sh-Shizu-chan? I was wondering if we could, uh... if we could go out somewhere!"
Izaya forced the words out.

Shizuo smiled on the other end. "Of course we can go somewhere, baby." His voice was unusually soft and gentle.
Izaya was just relieved when he accepted. "Where do you wanna go?"

That was the only problem.

But the older male solved the issue in mere seconds. "Here; let me surprise you. Unless you've already been there."

Izaya smirked. "Where's 'there'?"

Shizuo laughed. "Don't ruin it, Izaya. It's a surprise, after all."

Izaya grinned and hung up the phone, waiting for Shizuo to reach his place.

He was so ready for another night with Shizuo.
