What It Stood For

Izaya felt like someone had just slapped him across the face.

Shizuo had kissed the girl.

And Izaya didn't know what to do. His once pounding heart was still pounding, but with every beat, it continued to crack and break.

The raven didn't know how to deal with this. Never, ever had he ever felt this type of heartache.

Then it hit him, along with a wave of hurt and anger.

"THIS IS ALL PART OF M.I.F.P!!" He shouted at Shizuo and the girl as they broke apart their kiss. Shizuo looked at him with that blank stare, and the girl remained expressionless. "I KNOW WHAT THAT BASTARD SHINRA IS PLANNING!"

As soon as he said M.I.F.P, he realized what those long-lived letters stood for.

Make Izaya Feel Pain. That's what they stood for.

He suddenly fell into a very odd, unexpected smirk.

"Well," He hissed, watching Shizuo and the female's expressions change. "It didn't work. I'm not feeling any pain at all! You sonovabitch, Shizu-chan! I'll make you wish, that, you'd never, EVER broken up with me!"

He sounds drunk, Shizuo thought, a frown etching on his face.

The blonde let out a large breath he didn't even know he was holding. "Izaya, just calm-"

"HEY! DON'T YOU DARREE TELL ME TO CALM DOWN!! YOU'RE SO BLIND, YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE... How... I feel..."

Izaya's head suddenly went light, and the alleyway began to tilt and wobble. He stumbled, trying to get out of there, but each corner guided him around horribly, like a labrinth. Shizuo and the woman were nothing more than silhouettes, standing there, doing absolutely nothing. Izaya could no longer read their expressions, but he was sure they were laughing. At him. He pressured himself to glare, but his body wouldn't allow such force. Instead, hot tears filled his already shiny eyes, making it even harder to see. By now, everything was changing colour, turning upside-down, running away or crawling closer. Closer to Izaya.

Black dots started to cover his twisted vision.

Am I dying? The raven thought before he smashed the ground.

Hard.
