I sat back on the couch after I drank the sip of beer. I seriously wonder how someone could honestly like tasting that crap. I looked over at Ray, he still drunk some more. I guess he wanted to feel wasted more than ever. I just sighed and laid back in the couch even in more. I looked around more and saw groups of people talking, a few making out, and few chilling on the same couch as me. If I knew there was a pool, I would've brought some swim trunks. I rather not feel out of place but I guess tonight will have to do. I sat back up and began to walk outside. Then I bumped into the girl that was talking to Ray earlier. She was shorter than me, probably around five and half feet tall if I had to guess. She medium sized brown hair, skinny, and tan. She looked at me and stared, which made the moment even more awkward than before.
"Sorry about that, didn't mean to bumped into you." I apologized finally. She continued to stare at me.
"You're fine, though I do have a question for you." She mentioned.
"What's that?" I asked, still feeling a little awkward.
"Are you friends with Ray?" She asked.
"Uh yeah?" I responded.
"Keep an eye on him please, he always finds a way to get himself in trouble." She said with a smile.
I nodded and she began to walk off, then I forgot to ask her name.
"Hey, what's your name?" I asked.
"Kendall." She responded with a smile.
She then walk off again, I was still confused about what she meant by trouble. Though, I hope it wasn't anything serious. I turned around and saw Ray partying like no tomorrow. A few girls went up to him and danced. Though it was very...interesting to say the least about their dance moves. I could tell he wasn't being seduced by them at all. I could tell that he was flat out drunk so I didn't even think he really noticed them. I just shook my head and laughed. I looked at the time and realized it was way later than I thought, it was almost midnight. I panicked and ran to Ray, he was my only ride home.

I tired waving to him, but no luck. I then shook him a little and he still didn't do anything. I had one more idea, I knew it wasn't going to end pretty if he gets upset. I then slapped his face, then he looked at me with an angry glare. I could feel a shill going down my spine. Then, he just smiled and laughed. I was confused at first before I realized he was joking around.
"Really dude." I said in annoyance.
"You should've seen your face!" He said laughing.
I thought there was something odd, he's drunk more than four bottles of beer, yet he seems like he hasn't drunk at all. Though at this point I didn't care, I just needed to get home.
"Anyway, can you drive me home?" I asked him. He gave me a confused expression when I asked him that.
"The party has just begun." He responded.
"My mom wants me home before midnight." I explained. He just seemed to laugh it off like it was nothing.
"Look, when you are at a party like this, you just have to deal with it and stay all night." He said.
Anger grew within me, I promised my mom I'd be back home before midnight. Without thinking of the consequences, I tried to punch Ray in his face. He then grabbed my arm at incredible speed, faster than my eyes could see.
"I'd watch yourself, next time it won't be a warning." He warned.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking straight." I apologized in a frightened tone.
He then let me go, still had an angry face. I just walked away and hoped that I didn't ruined my only friendship. I sat back on the couch and I felt tired as ever. My eyes felt heavy and there was nothing I could do. Soon my vision resulted into pure darkness. All the noise began to fade and I was finally in my own little world.

Out of no where, a light turned on in the middle of a room. Ray was standing front of me, a good few yards away. I saw nothing else but the light and him. Everywhere else is pure black. I began walking toward Ray slowly.
"What is this place?" I asked him. He didn't turn around, just kept looking into the darkness.
"Ray are you okay?"
Still no answer from him.
When I was about a few feet away, Ray turned around slowly, his eyes were bright than before. One of his arms was black, red energy could be seen flowing through it. His hand was more claw like than human. His face was as angry as a bull.
"It's all your fault..." He said.
"What?" I asked in confusion.
"It's your fault she's dead!" He yelled. He then grabbed my throat and slammed me into the ground.
I could barely breathe, the air was being sucked out of my lungs. I tried to struggle out of it, but only to be losing to it. My vision was going black again, I was about to die. I couldn't believe I was going to die by my own friend. Then my vision returned to pure darkness once again. Light eventually breached into view. I opened my eyes, only see Ray laying beside me. He was dead asleep, everyone was. I looked at the time and realized it was nearly four in the morning. I looked around and saw no one awake other than me. What nightmare did I just have, I'll never know.
