I remember a time, after we had beaten the Demon-Warrior Cell and I had told Xenovia about my past, I decided that I would treat her to something nice.
I remember telling her to close her eyes. That it was a surprise that would be worth all the mysterious behavior.
I remember how I took her to a field of flowers, somewhere colorful and serene.
I remember when I told her to open her eyes and that small gasp that came out of her mouth.
"(y/n)! This is beautiful! This almost feels like a dream..."
I remember the hills filled with hundreds of flowers, all in different shapes and colors.
I remember the small bunch of flowers that I picked for her off of the ground.
I remember giving it to her... The tears that began to flow from her eyes.
"W-What's wrong?!"
"Nothing... It's just that... It's been so long since I felt this way..."
I remember looking into her eyes, tears of my own forming.
"I just wanted to find a place for us... A place to share..."
"Us..."
I remember that hug that she gave me, flowers still in hand, gripping me as if she would lose me.
I remember hugging her back and just being with her at that moment.
I remembered what it was like to feel love.
The kiss we had, the flowers we picked, and the love we shared.
I remember all of it.
"I love you, Xenovia. You complete me."
