I've been going to this School for a week now and my luck is going perfect 'cause I still didn't see Jughead yet and neither of my siblings or his own sister mentioned him so I'm saved

"Hurry up , jess I've workout today " Brent Yelled from downstairs and I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs ,Stoll an apple from the kitchen counter , shout I love you to Mom who was in the kitchen and was out of the door

"I'm here , I'm here " I say as I enter the car with Brent giving me death glares like I just killed his Dog , I smile at him and returns to the road

I Call Sam since she didn't reply to my text , me and Sam have gotten really close over this week , we shared some of the classes I've shared every lunch with her and Zach , I seriously need to ask her what's her status with this guy

Ring...Ring...Ring... " Hello You've Reached My Voicemail , You've Reached Sam Jones's voicemail , leave your message and I'll call you , I'll properly won't " I growl at this and leave her a message to call me

I sigh which cause Brent to look at me "what's Wrong ?"

"Sam isn't answering any of my calls or texts "

"Oh , did you piss her off ? "

" What ? No , we've been so close that Laura's jealous of how close Sam is "

I glance up from my phone to him and se that his face's tensed and I knew something was off , he was definitely hiding something
"Brent " I say try to catch his attention

"Uhmm .."

"What is it ?" I shift my body in my seat to face him

" what's what ? " he says and I make out the breaking in his voice

"You know what's it don't you ? , you know why Sam isn't answering me " he looks at me and I get my answer and its sure is a bad Thing that he was about to say

" uhmm , look I Can't tell you "

"And why is that ? Tell me one good reason why Can't you tell me why my only friend in this new shit hole isn't answering me "

" Cause you'll get too emotional and that's bad for you " I roll my eyes at his Statement

"Brent either you tell me or I won't talk to you ever again " he chuckled and when he noticed that I didn't join in he stopped and looked at me then back on the road , stopped the car before the school by a few blocks , he shifts in his chair to look fully at me

" Look , Something happened Yesterday " I knew it I knew something was off , then I remembered that Sam Said that she had thing with her brother yesterday that's why she couldn't come over to study with me

" What happened? " my voice comes out cracked and shaky

Brent ran a hand throw his hair which is a habit when he's nervous

"She's.... She uhmm .."

"Spil it Brent " I say tired of how nervous he makes me

" she's in the hospital " he dropped the sentence so fast that I recognised what he said after minutes , I widen my eyes not believing what he said

" what ? How ? And Why ? " I say quickly the nervousness obvious in my voice

" She Got Sexually assaulted yesterday and in the hospital out of shock , she's not answering cause she's refusing to speak and always silent and staring at the Nothing "
As he finished , I felt the first tear already down my face

When he looked up at me and realized what I understood

" She didn't get raped , No , Well she was Almost Raped but Jughead Saved her in the perfect timing "

"You say that like that changes anything, that doesn't change the fact that you hide from me what happened to her , even though you knew that I was worried , how could you even do that ? , what even happened , I have to see her , she's my only friend here I can't leave her like that without visiting her at least , which hospital is she in , I'll GPS it , just tell me the name--"

" breath Jess Breath " and with that it was the last I heard before everything went black and suddenly my breath was hard to catch , I kept coughing on nothing , the last thing I Saw was Brent on his phone , his nerve on his head popping indicating that he's nervous , I'm truly lucky to have a brother like him and by that I'm out
