I was standing outside, in the balcony with a cup of chocolate in my hand. The smell of early winter and cocoa created a pleasant feeling in me as I inhaled the cold air. I felt an arm on my shoulder to see Seokmin, nose red.
"Yah, what are you doing out, don't you get cold easily? Get inside Jagi-ya! I don't want to you to get sick" I whined, slapping his chest.
"Why? Because you're worried for me?"
"Ani, I am too lazy to take care of you" I joked as his elbow went around my neck, locking me in.
"Seokmin-ah, I was just joking! Let goo!" I struggled under his arm, slapping it. He let go of me and ruffled my hair playfully, I pouted him.
"You know I wouldn't do that right Seokmin?" I muttered. he crouched down to level both of our faces.
"I know (y/n), but don't you ever say that you won't care for me, even if its just for fun, okay?" he said and I nodded. He cupped my cheeks and kissed my forehead, pulling me in a hug. I smiled against his neck, my arms around his nape.
"Oh, it's snowing, look (y/n)" he exclaimed, pulling away. I turned around to see white flakes dancing in the air, slowly making their way down to the ground. I reached out and touched one with my finger as it melted at my warmth. I smiled despite knowing it myself, the little kid in me feeling enlightened. I cupped my hands and reached out of the balcony as a pile of snowflakes landed in my hands. I brought them close to my face, examining them with my curious eyes. They looked so beautiful yet fragile, breaking away at a simple touch. I stood there staring at them melt away. I ended up with a puddle of water inside my hand, pouring it away, outside of my balcony. I placed my hands on the railing, leaning forward and admiring the show of the snowflakes, right in front of my eyes.
"You know you looked so beautiful right now..." Seokmin muttered tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. My cheeks warmed up as he leaned in to me. "I am so lucky to have you (y/n), you know that?" he whispered before planting a kiss on my lips. the cold in my body melted away as the warmth spread all over my body. A nervous feeling broke out at the pit of my stomach, like a thousand butterflies taking flight at once inside of me. His lips were soft, moving in sync with mine. All that cliché descriptions, I finally got to know the truth behind them. I felt happy, kissing the love of life, wanting to stand by him my entire life. He was so addictive, even on the first time and I loved it about him. We slowly pulled back and I saw a slight pinkish glow on his cheeks. I smiled and hugged him as he hugged me back, rubbing my back.
It was a magical moment that made me smile every single time it played in my mind. I felt lucky to be with Seokmin. Guess I finally found my other half that I had been searching for, huh?
