The dismissal bell rung through the speaker, echoing off the walls of the classroom. I grabbed the messy pile of worksheets in between my hands, neatening them and placing them into my backpack. My fingers reached out for my post-its and pens, stuffing them into my pencil case which I pushed inside my backpack before slinging it over my shoulder. My fingers drummed the table impatiently while I waited for Mrs.Jung to dismiss us. She scanned the class once again, before gathering her resources in her arms and strutting out of the class. I jolted up from my seat and rushed out of the class when something held me back, stopping me in my tracks. I turned around to see Ryan pulling me by my backpack.

"Wrong way silly," Ian remarked before he set off with Ryan and Aiken, in the other direction.  I giggled awkwardly before quickening my pace to match with the long strides of the boys. As usual, heads turned in my way, eyes scanning the four of us. The guys looked undisturbed as they were used to the attention but I, one the other hand, fixated my eyes straight ahead. My body became stiff as my right hand clasped tightly around the strap of my backpack. Suddenly, the boys stopped and walking and before I bumped into Ian, Ryan pulled me back with a tug on my ponytail. I glared up at him when Aiken greeted our unfortunate visitors.

"Hi guys, if you don't mind we are heading to practice before the game," Aiken reasoned with the cheerleading squad in front of us. Anna smiled sweetly at the guys before sneering at me.

"Oh, yes, good luck. Especially with that playing in the game," she commented pointing at me, a disgusted look on her face.

Anger coursed through my veins, my emotions becoming the better of me. I pushed past the boys before swinging my backpack straight at her face with full force. A high pitch scream rang through the hallway as Anna fell to the ground, her minions staring at me in shock. The people surrounding us fixated their eyes on me, hidden elation behind their barely concealed smiles.

Anna glared up at me, a set of manicured nails on her left cheek portraying a scene right out of a 90s movie.

"How dare you-"

"What are you going to do about it? I think we all think that its time you treat others properly. At least that will get you somewhere in life," I squatted down to her level, maintaining eye contact with her all the while. The tension in the air heightened, each of us glaring at the other.

"Just wait, I'll have you falling at my feet," she snarled back, index finger pointed right in the middle of my face.

"You can try sweetheart," I smiled before grabbing her hand and pulling her up to her feet.

"So long," I remarked before heading for the field as the boys rushed to catch up with me.

"That is the Han we need in the game later," Ian commented as I rolled my eyes sarcastically, my lips breaking out in a genuine smile.

"But on a serious note, shouldn't have been so violent. She has connections we don't want to know about," Aiken warned as I turned to face the guys, walking backward.

"Well, I would like to see what she can offer, I'm not going down-", I bumped into something, stopping me in mid-sentence. A pair of hands gripped onto the sides of my arms, sending a jolt of electricity along my skin. My heart went wild, as my back warmed up to the vaguely familiar body warmth of the person behind me. I swiveled around to see a pretty face looking down at me, still holding onto me by the arms. Butterflies broke out from the pit of my stomach as my eyes traced his brown orbs, shining with the familiar happiness. I could feel his breath on my face, warm and sweet. A shiver ran up my spine as my eyes moved down to his lips that broke into a ghost of a smile, barely revealing his pearly-whites underneath. I could feel his fingers close around my arm more tightly, a gentle but firm grasp. My breath caught in my throat as I noticed his eyes now looking down at my lips, a mesmerized expression on his perfect face.
