Lily's pov
We were at the end of the movie when my phone started ringing, it was Michael, "What's up?" I asked, "I found out why jack broke up with Roxy" Michael said, "Great, so why did he break up with her?" I asked, "Because he's seeing someone else" Michael said, I was stunned, "Oh, I wasn't expecting that" I said, "Yeah me either" he said, "I have to tell Roxy, ill call you later" I said, "Okay bye, love you" he said, I smiled! "Love you too" I said hanging up.
"So why did he break up with me? And why did he tell me it was because I'm too clingy" Roxy said, "Michael told me he is seeing someone else" I said, she broke down in more tears, "I love him" she cried over and over again, "I'm so sorry Roxy" I said pulling her into a hug, "Lily what do I do?" she asked, "I don't know Roxy, really, I've never went through a break up, except that minor issue with Michael last year" I said honestly, "How about me, you and Michael go out tonight?" I asked, "We have school tomorrow" Roxy reminded me, "Oh yeah, we'll on Friday we'll go out" I said laughing.
"I think I want to just be alone" Roxy said, "Okay, well call me if you need me, I'll come over at any time" I said as I left, walking towards my house.
"Lily have you told Michael about Melbourne yet?" my mum asked, "No actually, I'm going to call him just now and tell him" I said, "Invite him over for dinner, William and Olivia will be here, also William's daughter too, she's the same age as you" she said, "I thought it was just us six?" I asked, "Well I forgot about Williams daughter" she said, I nodded and called Michael.
"Hey babe" Michael said, "Come to my house for dinner tonight, we have to ask you something" I said trying to be mysterious, "Okay, be over in five, love you" he said, "Love you too" I said as he hung up, I sat on my bed and noticed a bit of my lip stick had come off, I quickly reapplied the bright red lip stick that I always wore, seriously I never left the house without it on, except when I wasn't wearing any make up at all, so basically hardly ever.
"Lily! Dinner!" my mum yelled, Michael must be here already, I walked downstairs and into the dining room where William, Lewis, Olivia, my mum and a girl my age sat.
The girl was sitting in my seat next to Michael.
There only was six seats.
"Uh, where am I supposed to sit?" I asked, "Oh, I don't know" my mum said, I glared at the girl in my seat.
"Hi I'm Grace" she said, I fake smiled, "Lily" I said as I sat on Michael's lap, his arms going around my waist and landing on the table, "Well, I have an announcement, kind of" my mum said, "Michael and Olivia it's only a question for you two, and Grace, sort of, would you guys like to come with us on holiday?" my mum said smiling, "But what about school? I really can't miss school if I want to get into a good college to study medicine" Olivia said, Olivia's the same age as Michael and I, she was in our year and one of my best friends, and my 18 year old brothers girlfriend.
"We're going the week you're off, I don't want lily missing school either" my mum said, "Oh, yeah i'll come" Olivia said, "Michael what about you?" My mum asked, "Of course" he said smiling, "Grace, do you want to come?" William asked, "Yeah" grace said, "I'm going to go get the dinner out the oven, lily would you come help me?" Mum said, I nodded and stood up, following her into the kitchen, "I don't have anywhere to sit since some random girl took my seat" I stated, "Lily be nice" mum warned, "I just don't want her in my seat" I said, "She has nowhere else to sit" she said, "Neither do I!" I said.
My mum sighed as I helped her dish out the dinner on to plates and bring them into the dining room, serving them.
"I'll be back in a second" I stated before going to my bedroom and grabbing the computer chair I have and attempting to take it downstairs, which resulted in me dropping it all the way downstairs, "Shit" I grumbled as I saw Michael run to the bottom of the stairs, "I thought you fell or something" he said, "Nope, I dropped the chair" I said as my mum and Lewis came out to see what happened.
"What happened?" my mum asked helping me pick up the chair, by this time I was already down the stairs, "I dropped the chair" I said as I wheeled it into the dining room and placed the chair next to Michael, "Can we finally eat?" Grace said angrily, "I'm sorry if my chair falling down the stairs and my family being worried it was me that fell caused an inconvenience to you" I said, Michael laughed under his breath, "It's a shame it wasn't you" she grumbled, "Lily behave" William said, "Don't tell me what to do, I'm not going to sit here and take this" I stated while standing up, "Lily sit down" my mum said, "No, I'm not going to let some stranger tell me it should have been me fall down the stairs, and I'm not going to let some guy act like my dad and tell me what to do" I said.
"This was supposed to be a family meal" my mum said, "Sorry but she isn't my family, and neither is he" I said pointing to grace and William, "Thank god for that" Grace said, but I never heard her, Olivia did, "You would be lucky to have lily as family" Olivia said.
This just went from bad to worse.
