Chapter 22

Lily's pov

"Damn lily, get a grip" I mumbled to myself, I went to the bathroom and washed off my make up, reapplying it again before walking back to the venue.

I stood at the side of the stage and the boys were just coming off, "Great show, from what I saw at least, I felt sick so I went back to the bus" I lied, ignoring the stares from Michael, I had to show him that he didn't matter to me anymore.

"Are you okay? Do you have a fever?" Ashton asked putting his hand on my forehead to check if it was warm, "Im fine now, I just felt a bit sick" I lied, he nodded, "So what did you think of our new song that Michael wrote?" Ashton asked, "It was, uh, it was...I don't know what to say about it" I stated, I looked at Michael, "It was about me, wasn't it?" I asked, Michael shrugged, "I'll take that as a yes" I said, "And we'll take that as our cue to leave" Calum said grabbing Luke and Ashton and dragging them away.

"Do you honestly believe I never loved you? Do you honestly believe I was lying?" I asked, "I don't know, but I do know that if you actually ever did love me then you wouldn't have moved on so easily, you wouldn't have date my best mate" Michael said, "I've known Ashton longer than you, I've known Ashton since I was five, I can't believe you thought it was easy for me, it's been one of the hardest things I've had to do" I stated.

"You actually expect me to believe that?" Michael asked, "I don't give a shit what you believe anymore Michael" I lied, "I spent practically everyday with you for years Lily, I know you're lying, why won't you just forgive me?" he asked, "You're apologising now?" I asked, my eyebrow raised, Michael froze, "Uh, yes" he said, "Say it" I said, "What?" he asked, "Say you're sorry" I said, "Im sorry lily, I really, truly am sorry" he said staring directly in my eyes, "I love you so so so much lily" he added.

I didn't know what to do.

Ashton's pov

"I want to know what's going on" I mumbled, "We'll find out soon ash" Luke said, "But I want to know now" I said laughing, Luke chuckled, "Do you guys think they'll ever get back together?" Calum asked, "I hope so, they're so perfect for each other it's actually like fate" Luke said, I laughed aloud as I nodded, "Yeah I think they will eventually, they both easily still love each other" I said, "I feel like some kind of therapist or something" I added while the others laughed.

"I hope they get back together soon, they seriously do belong together" Calum said, "Yeah" I said.

I loved lily, as a sister, I've known her since I was six and started hanging out with her brother, I want what's best for her obviously, I wanted her to be happy and I believed she was happiest when she was with Michael, that's when she looked happiest, and I want them to get back together as soon as possible.

I just want them both to be happy again.

Lily's pov

"Lily I know you still love me somewhere deep down, just stop being so damn stubborn and admit it" Michael said, "I've never denied still loving you Michael, I just didn't say anything about forgiving you" I said, "Please lily, I really am sorry and I love you and you love me and we can be happy again" he pleaded.

I sighed, "I don't know" I said, he looked at me hopefully, "I need time to think, this is happening too fast" I mumbled as I walked back to where the others went, "Are you guys back together yet?" Ashton asked, "I said I would think about forgiving him" I said simply, all their smiles turned into frowns, I shrugged it off and went to the bus and lay in my bunk.

I had to think about this.

Forgive Michael, be happy with him again, be with him again, lose my pride in myself.

Or

Don't forgive him, don't be happy again, be upset and sad, don't be with him, keep pride within myself.

I think it was a clear which one was winning.
