Chapter 19

Michael's pov

The others were all sleeping but I couldn't sleep.

I grabbed my phone and looked through all of the pictures of lily and I.

I looked at how happy we both looked.

I looked at how we both fit perfectly together.

I watched some of the videos of us together.

I heard shuffling from beside me and saw lily sit up, "What are you doing Michael?" she asked, her voice raspy from just waking up, I remember waking up to that voice in the morning.

"Nothing, just go back to sleep" I said quietly, "Okay, night" she mumbled before snuggling back into Ashton and sleeping again.

That should be me.

I wish I could forget about her.

I wish I could move on and get her off my mind.

I just can't.

How can she be fine?

Lily's pov

"Everyone up" Luke said shaking us all awake, my eyes shot open and I sat up, "What time is it?" I asked, "Half past three" Luke said, "Ugh, five more minutes" I said closing my eyes and falling on to the sofa again.

I heard giggling as I opened my eyes, "Lily we have to leave in ten minutes" Ashton said, "Okay, fine" I said, going to the bathroom and washing my face, brushing my teeth and hair, tying it into a messy bun before putting on my sweat pants and a top, I trudged out of the bathroom, "Wow you look beautiful" Calum said, "Im tired, stop being mean" I said pouting. "Ashton carry me" I said as he laughed, "I can't, I have the suitcase to take" he said, I sighed and sat on the sofa until we had to leave, once again I fell asleep.

I woke up in an airport, "Holy shit how did I get here?" I asked, I heard chuckling from beside me as I turned and saw Michael laughing at me, "You fell asleep and Ashton didn't want any of us to wake you so I carried you" he shrugged, "Oh, thanks" I said quietly, I still couldn't shrug off what he said last night to Ashton.

"Where's the others?" I asked, "Bathroom" Michael answered, I nodded as I pulled my phone out, I noticed there was a picture of me sleeping circulating twitter.

I looked through each of the boys' profiles to see who posted it, it was Ashton, he put it on with the caption

Lily fell asleep again when we were supposed to be getting ready lol

"You guys are so annoying, I can't even sleep without getting pictures took of me" I said once the others came back, "You love us" Calum said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, I chuckled.

We ended up going through security and everything within the next half hour and we were in the departure lounge waiting for our flight to London to be called.

Who would have thought I would be going to London to go on a world tour with my boyfriend and friends?

Well I did but I expected my boyfriend to be Michael, not Ashton.

Our flight was called and we walked up to the line, we got there quickly and we were near the front, so we got on the plane quickly and grabbed our seats, it was me, Ashton and Calum in a row and Michael and Luke in the row in front of us.

"I am most definitely going to sleep" I said, resting my head on the window and got comfortable before closing my eyes and falling asleep instantly.

After a very very very long flight, we arrived in London and were settled in our hotel, thankfully I had a room of my own so I didn't need to worry about having to share a room with the boys.

"Lily" Ashton said banging the door, "Yeah?" I asked, "We have to go down to the lobby" he said, I nodded as I followed him and the others downstairs to the lobby.

"I am Mark and I'm your tour manager, we will head for the bus in the morning, everyone rest up and be down here at 9 am, and lily you're the photographer, am I right?" mark said, "Uh, yeah" I said, "Okay, I was just double checking, everyone rest up" he repeated as we walked upstairs again to the first floor where our rooms were, "Night guys, thank you for volunteering me to be your photographer, and thank you for letting me come with you guys" I said, "Night lily" they all said, Ashton pecked my lips before leaving.

I went to my room and sat on the bed.

I loved Ashton. I loved him dearly. I did. But there was something missing from our relationship as boyfriend/girlfriend. It didn't have the spark that Michael and I's relationship had.

It didn't share the same excitement and joy as Michael and I's relationship.

I think the fans were right.

Ashton and I didn't belong together.

I had to break up with him.

This wasn't fair on either of us. I couldn't lead him on. He was like my brother, not my boyfriend.

I loved him too much to hurt him like this.

I loved him as a brother though.
