Chapter 1

Lily's pov

"I love you more" Michael said into the phone, I giggled, "No, I love you more" I said, still giggling, yes, we were that couple, Michael and I were that couple who wouldn't hang up the phone on each other, who had silly arguments about who loves who more and the couple who were always kissing or holding hands, we were a lover of PDA, and we didn't care who saw us.

"Lily, I love you more, but I have to go babe, I love you" Michael said laughing, I chuckled, "Bye Michael, I love you" I said as Michael hung up, I smiled as I lay on my bed, my phone still in my hand, I scrolled through all my pictures, most of them were silly or stupid pictures with Michael, or videos of the two of us having a laugh or attempting to do stuff.

"Lily are you off the phone with Michael yet?" my mum shouted up, I laughed to myself, she knew me so well, "Yeah I am, what's up?" I shouted back, "Come here for a second please" she said, I skipped downstairs and into the sitting room where my mum and brother were, "What's wrong?" I asked, "Well I wanted to talk to both of you," my mum began looking towards my older brother Lewis and I, "I was thinking that we need to go away on a holiday of some sort" she continued, "Yeah that would be nice" I said, "Yeah I agree" Lewis said, "Also, I was thinking of inviting William" she said, referring to her boyfriend, its so weird saying your mum has a boyfriend, "Mum, we hardly even know him" Lewis said, "You guys don't, but I do, and you could get to know him" she said, "If you get to bring William, then I get to bring Olivia" Lewis said, "Yeah of course" my mum said, "Then I get to bring Michael" I said, she sighed, "Fine, the six of us can all go on holiday, i'll call William and see when he can go, and i'll get the bookings sorted and everything, don't tell Olivia and Michael until its booked" she said, we nodded as I skipped back upstairs.

My phone started ringing, it was my friend Roxanne, or Roxy for short, "Hey Roxy, what's up?" I asked, "C-can you c-come to m-my h-house lily?" she asked sniffling, "Oh my god, what's wrong?" I asked, genuinely worried, "Just h-hurry" she sniffled again, "Be there in five minutes" I said quickly hanging up and grabbing my shoes and running downstairs, "Bye mum! Bye Lewis" I yelled walking outside and shivering due to the instant temperature change.

I walked the five minutes to Roxy's house, knocking three times before waiting on her answering, which she did immediately.

She fell straight into my arms, I hugged her tightly and sat on the sofa, pulling her into my lap, "What happened?" I asked quietly while rubbing her back, "J-jack br-broke up with me" she said sniffling, "No way? You're so much better than him Roxy, he doesn't deserve you" I said comforting her, "B-but I love him lily" she said, I wiped her visible tears from her eyes and cheeks, "Why did he break up with you?" I asked, "Because he said I'm too clingy" she said, "Maybe you should try and distance yourself a bit, make him see you're not clingy, how about I get Michael to talk to him?" I asked, she smiled a bit and nodded, "You're the best Lily" she said, "Yeah I know" I said laughing, she chuckled, "There's that smile" I said, "Thank you Lily" she said, "No bother Roxy" I said, "Do you want to be alone or do you want me to stay?" I asked, "I kind of want to be alone, but thank you for making me feel better" he said, I smiled and nodded, giving her a hug before leaving her.

She must be so hurt, her and jack have been dating since we were all 15, we're now 17, that's two years they've been dating.

Michael and I have been dating since we were almost 14, three and a half years we've been together.
