Miscreation

Chapter 2

I woke up chained to a big table, with machines and wires hooked up to my head. Lila stood over a large screen, glancing up at the monitors occasionally. She looked up at me and realized I was awake. I looked around the room and memories flashed before my eyes.

The machines beeped. The doctors stared at me like I was going to blow up any moment.

"Are you ready December?" One of them asked.

"What are you going to do to me?" I replied, scared, and cold on the metal table.

"Just going to try and shock you back to reality," he replied.

Suddenly realizing what they were going to do, I trashed and fought, but the cuffs around my wrists and ankles were too tight. I couldn't escape.

"NO!" I screamed. I trashed and kicked and screamed. "No more! Not the shockers! No more!" I screamed and sobbed and flailed.

"Dess calm down! I'm not going to hurt you!" Lila stared at me with sad eyes.

"You LIAR!" I screamed. Another memory flashed in front of my eyes.

"We aren't going to hurt you December. Just give you a little shock. That's all." The doctors typed something into their computers, and one of them places his hand around a large lever.

"Clear!" He shouted. Then he pulled down the lever.

I screamed in pain. I saw red, then white, then black.

I was tired from thrashing, but I kept fighting.

"No more," I whispered. "No more. No more shocks!"

Lila put her head in her hands, and sighed. Then she made her way over to me.

"Dess, I will not hurt you, but you need to calm down." She walked to the edge of my bed. "Otherwise, I can't help you." She leaned down over me, and grabbed my hand.

I breathed deeply, closing my eyes and feeling her embrace. Suddenly, I felt a stabbing in my arm. I opened my eyes and screamed as she pulled the needle out of my arm.

"YOU LIAR!" I screamed. "I TRUSTED YOU. I... T-TRUSTED... you..."

Blackness once more.
