"Why did you tell Kristoff that I was sick?" Astrid asked as they walked back home, the wind picking up and causing Astrid to hug her shoulders to protect herself from the cold. Hiccup smiled when he looked back at her.

"Here." Hiccup took off his jacket and carefully lay it upon her shoulders. Astrid smiled back at him as she clutched it over her shoulders. "I didn't want to worry Kristoff, and I thought he might try and take you home instead of me..."

"You want to take me home that badly?!" Astrid asked, surprised someone would care for her that much. No one ever did that. Kristoff did on occasion, but this felt different.

"What? I think you're good fun!" Hiccup admitted causing Astrid to chuckle and nudge him as they walked.

"I don't think I'm that fun. People just tolerate me..."

"It's never fun without you..." he said causing a light blush to appear on Astrid's cheeks, she smiled and tucked a piece of hair behind her ears. How could he make her blush like this so easily?

"Well... Thank you." Astrid replied shyly.

"Your welcome."

Finally they arrived at their houses, Hiccup walked Astrid all the way up to her front door. Astrid grabbed her keys and opened her door, but before she entered she turned back around to Hiccup and grabbed his wrist as he was turning away.

"Wait!" Astrid called out. Her hand wrapping around his wrist and falling down to his hand, gripping it tightly. "Please stay." She pleaded. Hiccup could see the desperation in her eyes and shyly nodded, he was almost nervous about being in her house this time but he guessed this time he could be doubly sure she was okay.

"Thanks, Hiccup." Astrid said shyly as she closed the door and Hiccup just stood in the hallway awkwardly. "Come on." She gestured him to follow her upstairs and up to her room. Hiccup sheepishly followed behind afraid to make the wrong move and scare her away.

Astrid slid off Hiccup's jacket as they entered her room and threw it somewhere on the floor. She then threw herself on the bed and leaned up against the head of her bed, watching as Hiccup awkwardly closed her door and just stood there looking at everywhere else but her.

"Come on." She patted the space next to her. "Don't be scared, I don't bite!" She joked, a smile appearing on her face in amusement at her own joke. Hiccup smiled and slipped off his shoes as he joined her on the bed, leaning against the head of the bed with her.

"Are you okay Astrid?" Hiccup finally asked, breaking the small silence that had enveloped the room.

"Yeah... I mean, I am now..." Astrid replied nervously. She needed a drink, a strong one. "I'm gonna get a drink, I'll be right back." Astrid announced as she leapt up from the bed and left Hiccup alone in the room to go downstairs and grab some alcohol from the cupboards.

Hiccup, meanwhile, cast his eyes around the room and his eye caught a familiar sketch on paper. He slowly approached her desk and eased the paper out from underneath all of the books that lay on her desk. It was then that he finally saw the drawing. It was the drawing Hiccup had done of Astrid. She wasn't as beautiful as in real life but she still looked amazing, Hiccup applauded his drawing skills but cursed himself for trying to do her real beauty justice, it did not pay off in this drawing.

Just at that moment, Astrid re-entered the room holding a couple bottles of alcohol.

"You kept this?" Hiccup asked as she walked in, unbothered by the drinks she held in her hands. Astrid walked closer, placing the drinks on the bed as she passed. She looked at the paper in his hands.
