Chapter 14- Where is Dahlia?

Amber P.O.V-

We all watched in silence as Dominic looked at his son and mate. Dominic's eyes were wide and he looked unsure of what to do.

I noticed Tim and Brandon sneaking out quietly together.

"Do you want to hold him?" Shannon asked Dom holding Parker out to him. He didn't move he just stared at them. "Um... Ok." Shannon took a few steps forward so she was in front of Xavier and I.

"Xavier can you hold him so I can talk to Dom." Xavier nodded removing his arm from me, he reached out for the child and placed him on his lap. He was laid down so his head was resting on Xavier and his feet were on me. Xavier had his arm under Parker's head so he was comfortable.

Dominic and Shannon left the room together and headed somewhere up stairs.

"That was unexpected." Tommy said. Xavier agreed brushing Parker's hair out of his face.

"There's three little kids now." Xavier said. "Speak of the devil."

Mikey and Dahlia ran in laughing and squealing, this caused Parker to stir.

"Dahlia, Mikey, Quiet." I told them. They walked towards us looking at Parker.

"Who's this?" Mikey whispered.

"That is your nephew Parker." Tommy said kneeling next to him.

"How old?" Dahlia mumbled quietly.

"I think he's about a year and five months." Xavier answered her.

"Cute." She commented.

"Why don't Tommy and I take you to the park?" Stacy said to the children. They agreed and they all left. Leaving me, Xavier and Parker.

"Dominic is going to have to learn how to be a father." I said looking at his son.

"He'll learn. Shannon, Parker and him will be a perfect family. They'll work it out." Xavier said wrapping his free arm around my shoulders. "About me being a werewolf..." He started.

"I can get used to it." I told him, he smiled widely at me.

"Really?" He grinned.

"Yes." I confirmed.

He pulled me closer to him. "So how about we go on a date."

"That would be great." He placed a kiss on my cheek.

"No PDA around my son." Dominic said walking in the room, he had Shannon under his arm. They both had smiles on their faces. It seems like Dominic has snapped out of his state of shock. "So can I hold him or what."

He walked over to us and Xavier handed Parker to him. He held him awkwardly, trying to be as careful as possible.

"He's not going to break." Shannon laughed at her mate.

Parker opened his blue eyes and examined Dominic carefully. He then giggled and grabbed Dom's shirt tightly.

"Mamma." He squealed one he saw her standing next to Dom.

"Hey Parker this is you Dadda. Can you say Dadda?" Shannon asked him.

"Mamma!" He said again.

"He'll learn." Shannon reassured Dom.

"Hey buddy, It's great to meet. Sorry I missed your first year of life, but I'll promise that I'll be with you for the rest of my days." He smiled at his son, moving him so he was comfortable. Dominic sat down in an armchair and started to speak to him.
