Chapter 21 - Who Screamed?

Amber P.O.V-

Xavier jumped up when the scream pieced through our ears. He turned to me making sure that it wasn't me who was screaming.

"Stay here please." He told me with pleading eyes, I nodded in concern. As he left I got up washing the makeup of my face and changing into one of Xavier's large t-shirts.

After a while of me sitting on the bed he came back. He ran a hand through his hair, stressed.

"Who screamed?" He glanced at me briefly before walking to his wardrobe pulling out some clothes.

"Stacy." He mumbled.

"What!" I jumped up ready to run and find her.

He sighed sitting me down. "She's fine." He sat on the bed next to me. "She was coming to look for you to make sure you were okay after what happened but on the way she saw someone."

"Who?"

"Amber." He smiled weakly. "It's late, why don't we talk about it in the morning?"

"Fine we'll talk in the morning, but I'm going to find out now." I stood up.

"Danny." He exclaimed standing up. "She saw Danny."

"My ex-boyfriend Danny?" He flinched at my words.

"And he had a gun." Xavier pulled on a t-shirt making me realize that he had been shirtless this whole time.

"What!" I gasped at his words.

"Amber his gun was loaded with silver." Xavier watched me carefully.

"He knows?" Xavier nodded.

"I think he's working with Tristan."

"I'm so tired." Stacy groaned, Tommy kissed her cheek a huge smile on his face.

Something is going on. Tommy and Stacy have been extra affectionate today, it's weird. She was currently sitting on his lap. I was sitting in the armchair next to the couch they were on, I was staring at pictures on my phone. There was a picture of Danny and I which I forgot to delete after we broke up.

"Where are you going?" Tommy asked Xavier as he walked down the stairs.

"To talk to Danny." He muttered.

"I'll come." I stood up.

"No Amber." Xavier told me.

"Oh sorry." I crossed my arms. "This isn't up for discussion."

"I agree. You're staying."

"Yeah, I'm staying with you." I narrowed my eyes at him.

He growled. "Fine. Don't leave my sight." I grinned in victory.

"Do you know what's going on with Stacy and Tommy?" I asked as we walked away from them.

"They mated." I was confused for a moment until I realized what he meant.

"Make sense." I nodded. I wonder why she didn't tell me.

"Ok we're here." We were in the basement looking at a metal door. "Are you sure about this? It's not just Danny in there you know that right?" Actually I didn't know that.

"They're all in there for a reason right?" He nodded. "Well then lets go."

He pressing a pin into the keypad which I may have or may not have memorized. The door slid open with a loud screech.
