Always There (A Snarry story)

Chapt 9. Rescuer

Severus marked the last paper and leaned back in his chair.  It was oddly quiet without Harry around.  As he was about to put the papers away he felt and a strong tight pressure in his chest.  He needed to see Harry right away.  With that he made his way off the school grounds and apparated.

When he landed in diagon alley something immediately didn't feel right. He need to find Sirius and Remus right away, so that's what he did. After some searching he found them freaking out and looking around with out  Harry.

He walked straight to the couple "Where is Harry mutt?" To others severus sounded calm, but to the pair in front of him the anger could be felt seeping out of every word. Remus put a hand over Sirius' mouth to keep him from speaking.

"W-we don't know Severus, one minute he was out here waiting next he was gone" what remus said made he more mad, the duo back up greatly. He stormed off following the growing pressure in his chest. They were no help like usual so he is on his own to find the boy. Severus knew it wasn't safe for harry to be away from him, but he had no idea why he let them go alone with the lad.

The professor was almost to knocturn ally when a small body ran straight into him from the ally and latched onto his robes. "S-Severus help, please" all he saw was the mop of dark brown hair to know who it was, he instantly picked him up and held him tightly feeling the boy trembling in fear.  "I got you little one, can you tell me what happened?" Harry just burrowed his head further in to the black robes.  A man came running from the ally not long after looking every where for something. Apparently he saw it and came over to Severus and the mass in his arms.

"Mr. Snape, sir, I was just about to take that boy there to... um ..well where ever the others are" he was familiar he had seen him once or twice at Deatheater meetings. He was alway trying to get into the inner circle. "There is no need for that, we have nothing to do with him once you take him. If Dumbledore found out you would get us all arrested" with a well practiced glare he made the man cower in his shoes. "Now I suggest you take your leave before they catch on to us"

He watched the man run off into the ally once more. "He's gone now Harry"  he ran is hand through the kids hair. "Thank you severus, He grabbed me out of no where but I escaped and ran" The elder smiled. "What a brave boy you are" he set harry down and held his hand. "Have you finished your shopping Mr. Potter?" Harry pulled out his list of things for school. "No I haven't I have a few more things to grab." Snape nodded "let's meet up with Black and Lupin and get this finished".

For the rest of the day the four finished up Harry's school shopping and headed back to Grimwald before the potion master went home with one harry potter who was still shaken up from the days events.
