Violet's POV

I couldn't believe that he was sitting in front of me sucking face with some random blonde hoe after specifically telling me I wasn't even allowed to dance with another guy. He was the definition of double standard and I had had enough. I finally understood what Rose hated about him.

"I hate you, Andy," I said as I stepped towards him and swiped my hand across his cheek. He and the girl looked at me surprised as I spun around and walked quickly away from them. I didn't even look to see where Rose and Stephen were. I was sure that they were having a good time and I didn't want to ruin that. As I got outside of the club I felt tears running down my face. Why was I wasting my time crying over that asshole? Maybe because I was upset that Rose had been right about him. I continued to walk down the dark streets, slightly disappointed that Andy hadn't been chasing after me. I slowed my pace when I realized I had no idea where I was. I kept walking down the busy street until I walked past a dark alley. I heard people talking and laughing down there and I couldn't let myself look. I was too afraid of what I might see.

It hadn't occurred to me that The Cobras were probably still looking for us and this was the first time I had been free from the watchful eye of The Spades so if they were going to attack me now would be the time. I walked past the alley and I heard footsteps behind me. They were staying in pace with me. I sped up, they sped up. I started getting nervous but I couldn't bring myself to turn around and look who was behind me. I came to an intersection and a large black SUV pulled in front of me, making me stop in my tracks.

"Vi, get in the car." I saw Jeff and I felt relieved. I ran to the passenger door and quickly got in while he sped off. "What the hell are you doing? You know you can't be walking out here at night by yourself! Andy is going to be pissed." He scolded me as I wiped my face.

"I don't give a fuck what Andy thinks. He doesn't control me and as far as I'm concerned he is now dead to me."

"What happened?" He asked.

"I don't want to talk about it. Just bring me home."

"That was the plan." He said as he made his way in the direction of the Spade's House.

"No, Jeff. My apartment. If you don't take me there I'll jump out of the car and walk there myself." I said unbuckling my seatbelt. He grabbed my leg making me stop moving.

"Ok ok calm down. We can go there." He said as he turned the car around and headed towards the apartment. We entered the building and I found the spare key that Rose and I hid outside our door and he followed me inside. I plopped down on the familiar couch and took my heels off. "Why did you want to come here?" He asked as he watched me. I looked at him sadly.

"I'm done, Jeff. I'm done playing this game that you all enjoy so much."

"What game?" He looked at me confused. I pulled my hair back into a ponytail and put my shoes by the door.

"This hostage captive situation. At first, I realized that it was probably to keep me safe. Then I thought that Andy had started to like me so he just wanted to keep me around and I just went with it. I have been very willing to go along with everything you have put us through but not anymore. I'm done. Andy doesn't care about me and no one is coming after me."

"Except they are. Just because they haven't doesn't mean they won't."

"I don't care. If they want me they can have me. I don't want your help and I am not going back to that house. Ever."

"Andy isn't going to let you stay here."

"Andy is no longer in the picture, Jeff. I don't care what he wants. He means nothing to me and I'm done." I said. I felt some tears roll down my face as I said that. I stood up and wiped them with a tissue. "Thank you for the ride home. I am good. I'm just going to go to sleep. You can leave now." I said as I motioned for the door. He calmly shook his head.
