Rose's POV

I hopped into the black SUV with Stephen at the wheel and Violet and Andy in the back along with Jeff. The other boys were following in separate cars. He had one hand on the steering wheel and the other on my thigh. The black sunglasses masked his face and his lips pouted as he drove down the highway. I watched him closely staring at the features of his face. His jawline was so sharp and the way that his lips pushed out ever so slightly when he was concentrating or the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled. He was honestly perfect. The tattoos that wrapped up his neck and covered his whole body looked like they were made for him. He glanced over at me making me blush.

"You staring at me?" He smirked knowing he caught me in the act.

"No why would I do that?" I said looking out the window at the houses passing by. Stephen just chuckled to himself and continued towards the range. I had never been to an actual shooting range other than the one in the CIA. I was going to have to pretend that I didn't know how to shoot or anything so the rest of the boys didn't know my secret. Stephen threw the car into park and unbuckled.

"We are here," Stephen said opening his door along with everyone else. Of course, the boys knew the owner of range so we just got to walk right up to lanes. I was slightly shocked when Rick came over with a large duffle bag and told Stephen to pick his weapon. There were at least 20 guns in that one bag along with a few knives, clearly, this was a bag that they brought on deals with them. Stephen pulled out an M16 rifle, M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper and a Glock model 22. I tried to grab the sniper from Stephen, he pulled it away from me.

"Excuse me, you know I can handle my guns" I whined reaching out to get the gun Stephen smirked holding the gun even further away.

"I know you can but the rest of the boys don't so you are going to start out with the Glock and I get to teach you," He whispered closely I could feel his minty breath on my face. I rolled my eyes but agreed nonetheless.

"So stand with your feet staggered and have your elbows slightly bent," Stephen came around the side of me wrapping his hands around mine on the Glock. He was mimicking my stance making sure to press his body closely against mine. "Then you aim slightly below your target so that when the gun recoils the bullet will go higher than where you wanted if you put it exactly where you want it'll go too high." Of course, this was something I already knew but for the sake of everyone else watching me, I shot and purposely missed around 5 times. I finally made a shot on the target hanging about 20 feet away from me.

"Nice shot," One of the boys said from over in their lane, making me smile. Stephen chuckled before loading up the rifle and having a new target placed out.

"Watch how it's really done Princess," Stephen smirked having the target sent out 100 feet so it was barely visible. I rolled my eyes knowing that I could hit that so while he was showing off I walked over to see how Violet was doing. Andy was still standing with her, her eyes were visible closed and Andy's finger moved to the trigger with her underneath and he pulled it. The shot went off hitting the middle of the target causing Violet to cheer in victory that she had actually hit it. Andy smiled at her widely watching her celebrate, it was adorable for once I didn't want to slap him. I smiled to myself seeing all of the boys joking around and having a good time not worrying about anything other than the target that hung before them. I made my way back towards Stephen who was finishing off the last clip of the rifle.

"Hey, can I shoot the sniper now?" I asked grabbing it off the table that was in front of us, I fixed the scope and put the tripod on the ground. I laid down lining up my shot in between the eyes of the paper target person. I held my breath before pulling the trigger, hitting in between the eyes perfectly.

"Hey, nice shot Steph-" Rick stopped mid-sentence when he peered around the wall seeing that it was me. His mouth dropped open, "Rose?"

"Who knew sniping was so easy?" I said laughing before brushing myself off "Close your mouth you'll catch flies." His jaw snapped shut making Stephen laugh.

"That's my girl," Stephen murmured against my forehead pressing a kiss to it, I leaned into his hard body allowing his arms to wrap around my waist.

"Guys you have to see this! Rose is amazing!" The smaller boy next to Rick called out towards the others. I blushed at his comment as all of the boys stopped shooting and gathered around. "Rose show them!" he practically yelled I laid back down by the M110 now aiming for where the heart would be located. I took one last breath before holding it allowing me to steady and pulled the trigger. It landed right through the "heart" I could hear the gasp of the boys behind me and the giggle from Violet. She wasn't surprised by any of this seeing and it was kind of funny how impressed all the boys were, if only they knew.

"Stephen, we should put her in the gang," Someone said from behind me making me laugh. I stood up brushing the dirt off my pants strolling over to Stephen who was still leaning against the wall hands in his pockets. A small smile came to his lips it was contagious I smiled brightly back at him. He was shaking his head at me showing off, he was known to be one of the best snipers of the gang. Clearly, I was just as good as him because the boys were chatting amongst themselves saying how I could Stephen a run for his money.

"I gotta go to the bathroom, I'll be right back," I said to Stephen before heading towards the restrooms. Everyone went back to their lanes and went back to shooting. I pushed open the door revealing the musty bathroom with 2 stalls. It was dimly lit and I made sure to squat and not actually touch the toilet seat. I could hear the voices from outside yelling something I assumed it was the normal banter that the boys did. I dried my hands making my way back outside. There was no noise of shots being fired and nobody was in sight. I could hear the voices but they were all huddled around in a circle, the sobs of someone could be made out over the hush voices. Jogging I made it over to the group to see that it was Violet crying and there was someone in the middle of the circle laying on the ground.

"What happened?" I asked pushing my way into the circle. I saw Jackson laying on the ground with a blood-soaked shirt. I panicked.

I heard the last of Violet's conversation with Jackson. "I'm never touching a gun again." She said sadly.

How the hell did you shoot him?!" I asked confused as I walked over to her.

"I just slammed the gun down with the safety off and it went off and I heard a scream and...it all happened so fast," she said sadly. I swear, only she would be capable of accidentally shooting a gang member.
