Rose's POV

"This plan is?" Violet stood there waiting for me to answer.

"The plan is to stay here and get intel on them so I can report back to the CIA and take them down! The CIA has been after them for years and can never the information they need to take them down. So I'll get close to Stephen and have him trust me. It's a bulletproof plan!" I exclaimed a little too happy to take these boys down who were ruining our lives.

"That's a pretty solid plan. Let's hope it all works out." She nervously agreed before we both went to bed.

*a week later*

Living in the house with a gang was eventful, to say the least. We were treated as if we were part of the gang and it was kind of starting to feel like I was. We went on runs and deals with them that I knew what we had to do by the end of the third day. Stephen kept watching me like I was a small child that was about to fall and hurt themselves. I was getting way too antsy sitting around and not being able to go outside unless it was for a deal. The agency would be expecting to hear from me soon but we still weren't allowed to go out by ourselves. Actually, we weren't allowed to go out and do anything even if we tried to take one of the boys with us. The Spades were a lot more trusting with us than they probably should have been seeing as I was taking all the information they were giving us and sending to the CIA. Nobody had any clue that I was in the CIA and they thought that I didn't currently have a job and was on the search for one. So the plan was coming along well, except for the whole Stephen part of it.

The more I was stuck in the house with Stephen the more I learned about him. He turned out to be a lot more caring and sweet than I had thought he would be since he was in a gang and all. I wanted to hate him and want nothing to do with him but he was just being so sweet to me all the time it was hard to keep strong. He was always making me breakfast or making sure that I had anything I wanted which makes it hard to be mean towards someone when they are trying their best to be a good person towards you. Violet didn't seem to have any problem ignoring Andy and making sure that she had nothing to do with him despite all of his efforts. They seemed to understand that we didn't want to be near or with them. Stephen was so wishy-washy all the time, he'd go from being all cold and badass to being super sweet towards me. It was a rollercoaster to keep up with him. But the worst part about Stephen was how overprotective of me he was. I could barely talk to any of the boys without him getting angry and trying to fight them. I understood trying to protect me from the Cobras but he was going a little far trying to keep me away from the people he called his brothers.

"Vi, we have to leave tonight. This is B.S. the freaking Cobras haven't even made any attempt to do anything to us so I've had enough of being here." I groaned flopping onto my bed where Violet was sitting.

"They will find us you know that right? Stephen is a hound when it comes to you, you could be halfway around the world and he would know exactly where you were. Andy watches me like I'm some small child that will just bump into walls without him. So this isn't going to work." She huffed placing her head in her hands.

"I know but I have to go report soon. I'm thinking that if we leave after we go to bed that nobody is going to check on us and they will assume that we are still here. We can lock the door and tell them we aren't feeling well or something. WAIT! We will tell them we are on our periods that always freaks boys out! They won't question anything." I laughed

"I mean it's worth a shot, at this point we have nothing to lose." She shrugged

Violet and I journeyed downstairs to join the boys for dinner, it was family dinner night. That meant that everyone that was in the gang came over to the house and have dinner. To all of these boys, this gang was their family which was kind of sad to think about that all of their blood-related family was gone or they couldn't allow themselves to make contact in fear that rival gangs would find them. Jeff and Rick were slicing tomatoes and Thomas was cooking the beef in the saucepan. It was so weird seeing them so domesticated and not all big and bad.
