The entire trip back was quiet.

You were unsure of what to say so you simply held on tightly to Carnage's shoulders, pressing your forehead against the nape of his neck.

"Hm...Never knew you could be quiet."

When you didn't respond Carnage knew something was wrong.

"Kitten...You know he would have followed us if I didn't knock him out. I could have done worse."

Carnage mumbled, his grip on you tightening ever so slightly.

"I know."

"Though I wish you didn't drug me. Jeez we could've talked about it."

You had to keep yourself from scoffing.

"Really now? Because you've sure been reasonable about things in the past...."

You mumbled softly, rolling your eyes with a huff.

Carnage just sighed.

Eventually you reached an unfamiliar looking apartment building.

"Cletus....?"

"Don't worry now, Love. This is just another one of my hideouts."

Your arm's squeezed him tightly as he set you down onto the balcony before shedding his symbiote skin.

"Come on....let's go inside, now."

He mumbled, pressing a hand to the small of your back.

The apartment looked like that of your average New yorker.

Whilst you were examining the apartment curiously you didn't hear Cletus come up behind you.

Gently He grabbed your wrist and turned you around to face him.

"Y/n...."

"Cletus...?"

Cletus suddenly looked at you intensley.

"There's something I need to know."

You didn't say anything, standing still.

"What you said earlier....Is it true?"

You held your breath.

"Do you love me?"

You pressed your forehead into his chest.

You were quiet for several moments before gently pulling your head away so you could look at him again.

You took his face in your hands.

"Yes..."

You ran your fingers along the warm smooth skin of his jawline.

Your hands ran down the nape of his neck.

Cletus grabbed your hands before picking you up and carrying you to the bedroom.

You could only gasp softly when you were tossed on the bed.

Cletus crawled over you before carefully laying himself on top of you.

"Y/n...."

"C-Cletus I-"

Cletus leaned down and captured your lips in a heated kiss.

"Y/n....I feel like the first time we did this I didn't show you entirely how I felt....this time I want to."

Cletus whispered softly.

Cletus slowly started to kiss down the nape of your neck, sliding his hands up your sides.

Gently Cletus crawled down and kissed your tummy.

"I want to change..."

Cletus kissed your cheek.

"I love you."

Cletus kissed your forehead.

"I care about you."

Cletus kissed your chin.

"I want you."

Finally Cletus pressed a soft kiss to your lips.

"I need you."
