Broken (Percy Jackson/Avengers crossover)

Delusion

Percy POV

My friends read the first series and soon they started reading 'The Lost Hero'.I stared at the cover of the book Natasha was holding. My Flahbacks have been happening more frequent. Like 3 times a day. I'm getting really worried now. It was like the seven had.. left yesterday. The guilt oozed through my veins like teared stiches. So was the saddness.

Atleast I haven't had any blackouts. That would be bad. 

Very bad...

Thalia and Nico have been hanging out alot with us lately. They always eyed me carefully. Looking for signs of pain. But it always lingered in my dull eyes. 

I teared my eyes from the cover and onto my arm.

It's not over hero, it never is

I hate this scar. It never fades away It's always on my arm like a reminder of my failure. That I couldn't protect them. Like I could never protect anybody else. 

'- erce? Percy? You there?' I looked up. Realising I had zoned out. Thalia sighed in relief. 

'Gods, you've been staring at your arm for fifteen minutes. The others narrowed there eyes on my arm. I tugged on it to hide it. 

' So..' I said, awkwardly, 

'Perce can we talk to you?' Nico said. Thalia nodded. 

'Sure' We walked out of the room, far from it. 

'Perce are you okay?' Nico said. 

'Yeah, why?' I said, fiddly with loose threads of my t-shirt. 

'You suck at lying' Thalia said gently, 'Percy we can help' I looked into her eyes then at Nico. 

They looked geniunely concerned. 

I collapsed into a chair, 

'She's been visiing me. Dreams. Flashbacks-whenever she get's the chance' I said. Thalia and Nico looked at me in sympathy. 

'Percy, the next time she says anything to you, that your worried about... just tell us' Nico said. I nodded. And began walking back to the Avengers. 

I was about to sit down when I froze. 

'Perce?' Nico said. My back started to arch, my knees buckled and I fell to the floor. And started to cough up blood. 

'Percy!!' The Avengers surronded me, but Nico and Thalia warded them off. 

'Step back!' Thalia said. , 'Nico take him to his room' Nico nodded and grabbed my arm...

...But I was already sinking into the depths of darkness...

Nico POV

Oh no. It's happening again. Percy was doing so good. I was about to shadow travel to his room, when I heard a voice echo in my mind, 

Take him to the pool, I'll help him heal. I knew who that was. Uncle P. 

I shadow travelled to the pool, and threw Percy in it.

Percy POV

'Get away form me, Gaia!'' I croaked as she brought a dagger out.I gasped and shrank back into the wall. It was the same dagger..

Annabeth's dagger. 

She kicked my gut and I landed on the floor with a small, 'oof' She put a foot on my back and started to peirce my skin. 

Painfully. 

My vision was clouded with pain. 

I was getting killed with Annabeth's dagger. 

I could feel words being etched onto my back. Then it stopped. 

I was breathless from the screaming. I looked up and saw.. 

Annbeth.

She smiled evilly and brought out a whip. I held my breath. 

Crack

I could hear my skin tearing with every thrust. 

I didn't care about the pain. 

All I cared about was Annabeth. 

Why would she do this?- stop Percy Gaia's messing with your mind.

'That's enough physical torture' Gaia grinned, 'time for mental' 

Her form flickered, Piper.

'Piper!' She slapped me. 

'I Hate you! You left Jason to die! You left him' 

Hazel punched my jaw, 'You were my brother. I looked up to you! You're a murderer' 

Frank slashed his dagger on my chest, ' You were my best friend, but now I hate you.' 

Leo set my body on fire, ' All I wanted was family. You ruined that! ' 

Jason looked at me , ''You were my brother. My best friend. You could've let me die but not my friends. Percy, you're a traitor' I saw a tear trickled down his pale cheek. 

' You are nothing to me' A voice rang out. 

Annabeth flickered before me. 'Annabeth' I said. reaching out to her. 

' Why did you come with me to Tarturus?" She said. stepping back. 

' Why did I ever fall in love with you?' 

'You let me die' 

' You're nothing in my heart' 

She grabbed my hair from behind and leaned in, ' I hate you' she whispered. And all fell dark, my screams echoing throughout the inkiness.
