Chapter 4: Chocolate

Baylee's P.O.V.~

I can't believe the nerve of that guy! I think to myself fuming. I storm around the manor and find myself in the kitchen. I stop in my tracks as I look up to find a giant statue made out of...

"...Chocolate." I whisper to myself. I move slowly towards the statue made out of the most delectable food. (It was there the whole time)

"I'm gonna take a piece." I say to myself looking it over trying to find what piece to take. My eye's landing on the head of the statue. I get an evil grin and grab a sharp knife. I look at the neck and throw the knife at it, chopping the head off like the knife cut through butter. The knife lands in the wall behind the statue and the head falls into my hands. I grin at myself and walk out of the kitchen.

Now where do I eat this in piece? I think to myself. I hear footsteps behind me and i rush into a random room. I shut the door behind me and sit on the floor with my back leaning against the door. I lick my lips looking at the head. I was about to take a bite when,

"Baylee?" I look up to see Ciel looking at me wide eyed.

"Yes, young master?"

"What is that?" He points to the head in my lap.

"Uh. Chocolate." I say looking down at it.

"Bring it here." He commands. I sigh and walk over to his desk setting it down on his desk.

"Where did you get this?" He asks picking off a piece and putting it in his mouth. I pout at the boy whose eating my chocolate.

"I found it in the kitchen." I cross my arms over my chest.

"Found? As in you took it off of a giant chocolate statue that Sebastian made for the orphans?" He eats another piece.

"Says the kid who keeps eating it." I look over at him. He stops eating it then sighs.

"You can eat some as well." I smile and just bite into the head. I chew it and look at Ciel. He stares at me in shock then slowly eats another piece.

"How'd you get this off anyway? its solid chocolate. It should have been difficult."

I swallow what was in my mouth. "I chucked a knife at the neck." I say shrugging taking another piece and eating it.

"You through a knife at it? So your skilled in handling sharp objects?"

"I guess. I was taught how to wield a blade when I was 13. I went from a striking with a sword to throwing daggers. I hit my target every time" I smile at him. I look down at the head and realize that we've eaten about half of it.

"Impressive. You should have told me when I let you work here."

"You didn't ask." I shrug and sit down in a chair across from him. I hold my stomach and sigh in content. Ciel does the same.

"Well you will be an excellent addition to the staff." He closes his eyes.

"What do you mean?"

"Each one of my staff members has a special skill they use to protect me and the manor when under attack. Mey-rin is an exceptional sniper, Finnian has super strength, and Bard-"

"-Can shoot a rifle." I cut him off. "What about Sebastian? What can he do?"

"He's my personal guard, let's say."

"Yeah but what make's him your personal guard? What can he do?"

Ciel sighs and looks at me seriously. "That is our secret that you do not need to know of."
