Sebastian's POV~
My eyes widen at Ciel as he say's that word. The L word.
"Young master, A- Are you sure?" He nods.
Why? Why would I, son of Satan, (A/N: not entirely sure, but I have my theories) fall in love with a human girl? I think to myself.
I could tell Ciel was waiting for me to say something. Problem was, I didn't know what to say.
"Sebastian," Ciel breathes out, "How about, instead of trying to figure out why you love her, just accept it and try to find a way to win her heart." He then look's down at his paperwork shuffling through it.
That''s not a bad idea. I think again then leave his study. I walk down the halls in search for her. I notice her going into the garden. I follow silently behind her. She sits down on a bench and pulls out a book. I walk up to her.
"It's a nice day to read." It was the middle of summer so the sun was shinning brightly and the wind was blowing slightly keeping anyone who was outside cool.
"Yeah, it is." She says not removing her eye's from her book. I just stand in front of her, admiring her beauty. She looks up at me but keeps her head down, "Would you like to sit down?"
I blink forgetting that I was staring at her and probably looking weird. I blush slightly but repress it quickly. I nod and sit down next to her. "What are you reading?" I ask looking over her shoulder.
"Indelible." She states plainly.
"Oh. What's it about?"
"About a girl named Joy. She goes to this party and see's a boy across the room. He walks up to her and slashes at her eye with a razor. But it only gets the first layer of her eye. Anyway, she goes home, gets it fixed and she see's him again. His name's Ink and he's another be-ing, who only she can see. But as the story goes on they end up falling in love with each other and face hard times together but ends up for the best for both of them."
I smile down at her as she speaks, "What?" She asks looking at me questionably.
"Nothing. It's just that, you light up when you talk about the book."
"Well, yeah. It's romantic, adventurous, and a hint of supernatural. I mean when is there ever going to be a chance when you meet another worldly be-ing?"
Oh if only she new. I think and chuckle. "What now?" She asks, sounding slightly annoyed.
"Nothing, just, inside joke. Um, I actually wanted to ask you a question. If I may?" I ask her.
"Sure," She puts down her book and gives me her full attention, "What's up?"
"I understand that we got off on the wrong foot yesterday and other things. And I wanted to know if we could forget all of that and start off on a clean slate?" She looks down as if in thought, and I wait patiently for her response.
She looks back up at me, "Sure. Okay." She stands up and holds out her hand to me, "Hello, I'm Baylee Cook. And you are?"
I smile and stand up as well. I shake her hand, "I'm Sebastian Michaelis. It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Cook."
"Oh, please. Do call me Baylee." She closes her eyes and smiles at me.
She has a cute smile. "Then, please call me Sebastian." We release our hands. I already miss her touch.
"Alright, Sebastian." The way she says my name sounds so perfect, "I must get to my duty's so if you'll excuse me." She picks up her book and walks to the back door. She stops halfway and looks over her shoulder at me, "By the way, You're a good kisser." She looks forward and walks inside. I feel my cheeks heat up immensely.
