Keith: They all look at me, then the lion. "Wait. Guys it can't be me." Allura looks at me with hope in her eyes. "Please, Keith. Try." I look at Lance, and he just looks back at me. I go stiff. Please.... please don't pick. I keep that mind-set as I walk up into the Black Lion. It closes as I sit down. I look around. It's the same from the last time I was here; when Shiro and I found each other. I continue to see all it's control. "I know I can't replace Shiro. No one can, and I know you only let me in that one time to save him. So.... don't worry. I WILL bring him back." It starts to turn on. "No.... no no no no." He stands up, and roars. My eyes widen in fear. Why? I just said I can't- It turns back off and lets me down. I walk down and they all look at me with smiles. Allura steps up. "It has chosen you Keith, congratulations." I shake my head. "I-I can't do this. You guys were right I'm the loner. I can't replace Shiro. I can't be a leader." Lance walks up to me, and puts his hand on my shoulder. "No one is telling you to replace Shiro, but the Black Lion wouldn't choose anyone that wasn't worthy of it. I respect it's choice, and you should to." My legs start to try and give out. He smiles as we all walk out. Then we all go to our respective rooms.

Lance: I toss and turn as I sleep throughout the night, but I feel the urge to open my eyes. When I do, however, it isn't in my bedroom. "Am.... Am I on Earth?" It looks like I'm in a house. I get out of the bed and hear footsteps. The door cracks open, but no one enters. "Hello?" I wait for a response, but I get nothing. I slowly walk to the door, and creak it open to see what awaited me outside. I flutter my eyes as they try to adjust to the bright sun. I close the door and walk out to see I am in a valley; with forests covering my location. I spin around, and see nothing but nature. I look to see wild-life, but no people. "Where is everyone?"I hear the door open again. "Lance?" I turn around.... and see Keith. "K-Keith?" He smiles. "What are you doing out here so early silly. I told you to come eat breakfast first." I blush. "What?" He snickers. "You must still be half asleep." He walks over, and grabs my hand leading me back inside. My heart starts racing as I look at him then his hand holding mine back and forth. We get inside and it's not the bedroom anymore, but a living room. He leads me into a dining room. I look at the table. Only two seats? "Where is everyone?" He looks at me like I asked a stupid question. "You mean the Paladins?" I nod. "Yeah them." He sips some coffee. "Well.... last time we spoke to them Pidge and Coran are still engineering for the special forces, Shiro is still in Cali, and Hunk owns that reastaurant; which we have a booking for tonight." He hands me some coffee I looks into my eyes. "Unless you want to make.... a rain check?" My face feels heated. What is this situation?  I sip some of the coffee, and look at it with amazement. "My favorite." He scoffs as he sips more of his. "I would be a terrible husband if I didn't know what coffee you liked." I freeze. H-Husband?

I start to shake as I look down at my hand. Yep.... that's a ring. I look up back at him to see him reading a book. When did we get married? HOW did we get married? I touch my face not knowing which is hotter: the coffee or my  face. I look at the food, and feel my stomach go wild. I start eating and, after I'm done, I sit back. "That was good." Keith slides the plate, and sits next to me. "So, want to do anything today; like shopping, or maybe a trip to the library?" I think about it. "Mmm. Not really." I still can't really figure out what's going on. Keith smiles. "That's fine. I like staying at home anyway." "Then why did you ask?" He sighs, then sits on my lap. "Cause you like going out." I sit back and struggle to process what is happening. He cups his hands on my cheek and kisses me. It's soft, and supple. He continues to kiss me, but then stops. "I'm going to take care of the dishes." I lightly nod, looking around dumbfounded. Since when did Keith become a house wife? And a good one at that? I look over to see him in the kitchen. While watching him do the dishes, I start to relax. This.... this is nice, I guess. Wait- "What is Allura up to?" He drops everything in the sink as he clenches his fists. "Did-did I say something wrong?"  He looks at me, with tears staring to form in his eyes. "You still like her; don't you?" I jolt. "I was just asking-" "You do! I knew you did!" He stomps off and I start to feel confused. What's going on. I hear the door knock, and it halts my thoughts. "And who could that be?"

I walk over and open the door. I see her white hair flow from the wind, as her bright smile shines. "Allura?" She nods. "Hello Lance. Is Keith home?" I scratch the back of my neck. "Yeah, but I don't think he is in the best mood right now. Apparently bringing you up upsets him." She smirks. "Well you did try dating us both at the same time say you 'couldn't make up your mind' or whatever. Now I don't know how Earth people do stuff quite yet, but I don't really think that's a good thing with you guys." I look at her even more confused. "I did that!?" She nods again. "Yes you did Lance." The place goes dark. I look around as I see nothingness. What's going on now!? I look to see the two lights. Allura is at one, and Keith is at the other. They both look at me, but they seem to be crying. I try to walk towards them, but the closer I walk to one the more the other fades away. "What?" "You have to choose, Lance." I look up as I hear my own voice. "You can't keep doing this to yourself." I start to feel my self esteem go down. "But.... but why now. Why can't I just take some time to like figure it out. Things take time." "No Lance; you've been fighting over this since the beginning of Voltron." I look at them. I- I can't. "So you are fine with all three of you suffering?" I clench my fists and grit my teeth as the tears slowly flow. "That's not what I meant. I just don't want to make the wrong choice." "Lance." I look as I hear both of them. "Please, please hurry. We are hurting." I start to cry harder with more voluminous tears as my body quivers. "I will, I promise. I will choose, and I will never hurt either of you. You have my word." They both slightly nod. "We will be waiting."

I wake up in a sweat as I frantically look around. "That- hah- that was intense." I look at the sweat drip down onto my bed-sheets. I walk out of my room and walk to a little side room with a view of space. I sit down and watch the stars. Then I begin to hear footsteps. I start to feel nervous. "Please not a dream, please not a dream." The door opens, but this time someone walks in. "Anyone in here?" I look to see Keith walk in, as his shaggy mullet is all over the place. I start to laugh, and he already begins to look mad. "Oh it's just you Lance." I try to hold in the laughter. "Please.... pft.... come sit with me." He glares at me, but eventually walked over and sat down. I look at him with a smile, "So. What brings you here at this varga?" He sighs. "Couldn't sleep." I look back out to the window. "Me either." It stays silent. "Thank you." I look at him confused. "For what?" "For.... supporting me back there. I know I am insecure and it will get on people's nerves, but you said those words and it honestly cheered me up." I blush as my smile wiggles nervously. "Oh that, it was nothing." I try to shake my nervousness, and I relax. "But I meant it." He looks at me. "Lance." I look at him again. "Keith." "Who is in here?" We both look up to see Allura. I stand straight up. "Princess! What brings you here at this varga?" She rubs her eyes. "I heard noises, yawns, and decided to check it out." I walk over to her and walk her out back to her room. "Oh we just couldn't sleep. No problems here." She goes back to her room. "Lance, you truly are a wonderful person." I look at her with widened eyes. "Wh-what?" "Oh nothing. Goodnight." She closes the door. I didn't hear what she said, but I feel like it was important. Wait Keith! I go straight back, but no one was in there. I look around. Did he go back to bed? Is he sleepy now? I shrug it off, and sit back down. I look up at the stars once more. Who will I choose.... I wonder?
