Ezra's P.O.V

   It was weakening.

The Fury, its presence was fading away. Disappearing.

I almost felt to relieved and at peace when a spark of hope flickered. No more nightmares, crazy visions, hallucinations, callings, and best of all, no evil monster to hurt people when I get angry.

Yet, I couldn't help but feel suspicious. Something was...wrong about it. It spiked worry through my veins as I felt chills running up and down my spine. Why would this evil creature be giving up so easily? It wasn't even fighting its own death, more like sinking into its bed. Drowning without any struggle to get to the surface. It's like it wanted to die.

Why though? This emptiness from that villain seemed so right but absolutely wrong. So wrong that something else seemed just as bad, horrible. Something horrible happened and I couldn't put my finger on it.

There was another presence fading away too. A star shining so bright that the sun couldn't compare. It too was going away so easily, something delicate and it almost scared me.

Then there was the new presence crawling into my brain and starting to settle. I fought against it, fighting it out of my head. It felt like a fresh new slate, newly born child coming from no where.

I knew nothing good would come out of it if I invited this stranger into my head. No way was I going to let my walls go down that easy ever again.

What was going on? What was happening outside? Why does it all feel so off and plain terrible? The Fury weakening, the star dimming, and a fresh new mind trying to persuade its way in my head.

The door slid open and the fake walked in. He didn't do anything but stared at me with dull eyes. It was like he was trying to figure something out and carefully scanned my face for an answer.

"Did you need something or do I just pull off this prisoner look well?" I snarked, raising an eyebrow. A new emotion changed in a split second when he started to smirk and leaned closer until there we were only inches away.

"I think you know something has changed in the air recently. Something new is coming and if you didn't hear, it seems as though the Infected have somehow...disappeared," the man said before crossing his arms behind him. The fake stalked around me like a predator circling its prey.

"What do you mean by "disappeared?"" I asked, curiously. Infected don't just disappear, especially when they practically ruled over this planet. It didn't seem like he was lying though. I would know if I was being lied too. So why am I having trouble knowing if this guy is really my dad or not?

"Vanish, not there anymore, gone. I have a feeling this is something of your doing," he explained, stopping in front of me.

"And what do I have to do with any of this?" I asked, glaring down the phony. He set his jaw before cupping my face in his giant hand and surveyed it.

"You are very special Ezra Bridger, more special than you think. The power to create and destroy, controller of life and death itself. Balance of yin and yang. You are in the middle, you can tell if there is a shift in the balance. The Cure...," he pause for a moment, not completing his thought before continuing.

"This also means something more than sense but also a tracker," he explained, letting me go.

"Tracker?" I asked, confused. He made no sense at all. What does he mean by tracker? Balance? Does this make me a zombie or something? Why did he hesitate near the end?

The man smiled darkly and blue eyes grew insane with mischief. I narrowed my eyebrows at the fake. It seemed like he knew something I didn't know.

"A new era is coming quickly and to let it thrive, we must put out the rebellious flames out...forever," he said then turned and left.

Second Sister's P.O.V

I watched as my new master took his first step from his tank. The Soul Eater.

His eyes glowed a sickly green glow before turning into pitch black like his ruffled hair. This monstrosity looked innocent but I could feel the cold radiating off of the child. The darkness thrived and erupted like a volcano.

My master looked over at me like a hungry animal. I gestured over to Seventh Sister and watched as the small boy turned to his sister. My master walked up to her and his jaw stretched, making cracking noises until it was at his chest. eyes glowed green.

Seven shook her head, fear struck the young woman as she struggled and screamed. Her eyes met my master's and once yellow began to turn as black branches crawled down her eyes. She began to make inhuman sounds, body shriveling up until seeing the bone.

A blueish white, ghost-like fog was sucked into the new evil's mouth. Everything grew silent once Seven's body stopped struggling and went limp. Her eye sockets were nothing but two holes in her head as if there were no eyes in the first place. Her body was practically white as a pale snow and just skin and bone.

A rotting corpse.

My master giggled childishly and faced me.

"You are Second Sister?" He asked. I bowed, answering his question and staying completely loyal to him. My old master would want me to follow my new leader.

"Yes, Master," I spoke neutrally.

"Then lead me to my next meal," he commanded.

"As you wish," I replied and patiently guided the young boy down the hall to his next victim.

Fifth Brother.
