a cautious, non-destructive way of holding on
golden sunshine pouring its radiant magic
on the smooth tips of dandelions,
trembling under my heavy sighsthe distant country road behind the greens
glistening in the heat of bright summerthe yellow fields swaying to the tunes
in my ears, though inaudible to themsitting under the shade of lime coloured balloons,
pillows of honey-soft petals,
the warmth of orange skiesthe sunflower in my hair caressing my ears
as if reading to me the most beautiful of poe's verses
printed on pale sheets in my palmsthe scent of sun-kissed leaves,
nature painted in aesthetic pallets of marmalade and marigoldsubtle company of unknown old lays,
the low chirping of birdsand solitude,
a serene solitude
