Information Arrives

Chapter 12: Information Arrives

Alex's POV

One thing I love about isolated places is that it's so quiet.

"Hey Alex. what are you doing? You've been so quiet recently. Can you hear me?" Chris shouted from the other side of the room. Ok, let me rephrase that, it's as quiet as it's going to get with the Yogscast and Chris around. "Do you want to go and explore the forest?" I shake my head. We were told to stay in the bunker because there were some Russian soldiers patrolling close to the bunker. "Are you going to listen to everything Nina and Pina say? Come on, let's go out and have some fun." If what I suspect is right, Nina and Pina are a higher rank than me in the RDAA so I have no choice but to listen to them. I may not officially be a part of the RDAA anymore but I still have to listen to them. "Alexa, come on. Don't be a spoil sport." As quiet and as annoying as it's going to get. "Please, we'll be back before they even realize that we're gone!"

"We can't, there are Russian soldiers roaming around the forest and Nina has locked the entrances with an unbreakable lock."

"We'll just ask Lewis, if it has a pass code then it's unlockable."

"Nope, it's a fingerprint scanner. I don't think that Lewis can unlock something like that. Also, Pina's guarding the entrance and Nina's on the look out on the roof. There's no way that you're going to get out and not been seen." Chris sighed and scratched the back of his head.

"Aw man, I really wanted to go outside."

"Maybe, if you ask Pina nicely she'll take you out to the place where she trains Kim." His eyes lit up and he sprinted out of the room. Peace at last.

"Hey Alex, how long do you think we're going to be locked up in here?" That peace was short lived. It was Tom (Sparkles*). "I hate being locked up inside a building all day long." Man, everyone's uneasy about staying inside. Don't we all stay inside for most of the day due to recording or editing videos? What's got to them suddenly? "What about you? Do you want to go out and enjoy the sunshine?"

"Well, I'm not one much for tanning but to see some greenery again would be nice I guess. By the way, could you do me a favour? Can you kinda tail Chris around for the rest of today because I have a feeling that he's going to try and break out of this place and Nina will definitely kill him. Please."

"Sure, but you now owe me one." He walked out and closed the door behind him. Hmm, how long will this silence last I wonder?

4 Hours Later

"WAKE UP ALEX!!"

"AH!" I rolled over and fell out of my bed. "What the hell Ross?"

"You need to go downstairs, Nina and Pina are having a fight."

"Why do I have to go downstairs?"

"I dunno, everyone's scared to break them up so Chris suggested that we come and get you to deal with it." Seriously, what do they expect me to do? Walk in between them and tell them to stop? Like hell is that happening. There's no way I want to intervene with their fight.

"I'm sure it's nothing. Plus, what am I supposed to do?" Ross thinks for a moment and sighs.

"You can think of a plan on the way there. Come on!" He grabs my wrist and yanks me towards the door. What's the time? How long did that peace last? I look out of the window and the sun was setting. Ross opens the door to the indoor training area and sure enough, Nina and Pina were in there screaming at each other. The rest of the Yogscast made a large circle around them. There was a man tied up in the corner. He kinda looks like the guy who got exiled for destroying the assassination squad.

"What do you mean kill him? We can't just do that after what he said!" Pina shouted

"We can't just let him go can we? He know's that we're here and he could be a Russian spy! It's too risky."

"So? He gave us information about Zaku. It's the only thing we have to go on!"

"What if it's false and it's just a trap? What then? The entire group will be in danger!"

"What if it isn't false? What if Zaku sent him here to tell us that she was in danger?" I walked over to the man in the corner and squatted down.

"Are you the exiled Titan?" I whispered.

"Yeah, are you called Alex?" I nod. He knows me? If Zaku really did tell him then she most likely would've foretold all of this. "Zaku sent me here to..."

"I know, do you have a tattoo?" He looks over to his shoulder and I roll up his sleeve. Just as I thought. "Did Zaku tell you about this?" I say while pointing at Zaku and Pina.

"Yup, she actually told me about all of this. The capture, the argument and meeting you. She said that you were the only one that could convince those two into believing me and the information she gave me." Typical Zaku, she's thought this through. Why am I the one who has to do the convincing though? I'm not good at convincing people especially angry girls that can destroy an entire mountain and defy death. Those are the hardest ones to convince.

"Did she tell you about how I might convince these two?" He shook his head. Great. I took out my pocket knife and cut the ropes. "Stay close and don't say anything." I walked into the centre of the circle with Titan behind me.

"Alex, what on earth are you doing? He's a Russian spy." Nina shouted. Guess they don't know yet. Did they actually interrogate this guy and ask about who he is?

"Calm down, we can trust him and his information."

"How can you be sure about that?"

"Just listen, he used to be a part of the RDAA and he's a very honest person. He may not seem it but he's not actually Russian. His accent is fake and the clothes are actually to blend in with the others. He's a British mercenary who was probably responsible for capturing Zaku but I believe he was under the effects of a drug." I don't know how much of this is true but I need to convince them. "He must've come from the base to deliver this message to us that was given by Zaku which means that something bad's going to happen. If we don't listen to him then it may be too late." They both seemed to have calmed down a bit but I know that Nina doesn't trust him. "I'll look after him while he's here until Zaku comes back and decides what to do with him. If she decides to let him stay then he and his little group can stay in the extension on the west wing."

"How did you know that we have a west wing?"

"He used to be a part of the RDAA's demi-god experiment along with me and 4 others. After we destroyed the testing island we all escaped and went our separate ways and I haven't seen any of them since until I came along wih you guys to join the Yogscast. Then again, I didn't actually know that he was a part of the RDAA." Nina sighed and started walking out.

"If it turns out that he's lying then this is on your head Alex." I've never seen Nina act like this before. It might be because of Zaku's capture." Nina walked about 3 steps when she disappeared.

"Well done Alex, we had total faith in you and your girl powers." Ross said with the rest of the Yogscast laughing behind him.

"What's that supposed to mean?" They all left the room and I stayed behind with Titan. "So Titan, how trustworthy are your fellows outside? Will they be a potential threat to the rest of the people in this bunker?" He shook his head. "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm pretty sure that they'll be safe around the others. My crew listen to me and are really friendly until they're threatened."

"There's one thing that your friends have to do... Keep their masks off at all times while in the bunker. They can put them on while outside." He nods.

"That completely fine. They are a lot less intimidating without their masks so I think that it's a great idea."
