The ride back home was tense, even with no words being said. I sat close to the door, watching the forest go by. I hadn't touched anyone and nobody touched me, like had created myself a bubble. I knew what I was going to do once I get home. I was going to confront the monster of his lies. The thought of the scientist just made my blood boil. I flexed my hand in my lap, going to beat the cr*p out of him.

Once we reached the gates, I practically jumped out of the SUV and took off in the direction of the prison. I've never been this fast, having the surroundings blur slightly at the edges. To say I was made would be an understatement. I reached the prison with little energy missing. My eyes hazed over with red as I made my way to his cell.

"Aw! And I was thinking you weren't going to come and talk to meet me again, Darling!" He said, giving me a tired and painful look. They weren't feeding him correctly, making him thinner and weaker in comparison to his first image. His eyes were duller and he sported new bruises, most likely taken on by the nearby guards. He was not the man I once feared.

"You lied to me, fool!" My voice came out in more of a growl, my eyes being as vibrant as they were in my wolf form. "I can't give a single handshake without burning from their touch and it's pissing me off! I've come too far in life to let this hold me back now." I was pacing back and forth in front of his cell angrily. "It all needs to stop here and now."

He nodded his head slightly, a smug smile pushing on to his face. "I see.. Experienced any head trauma while you were away, girl?" She shot him a glare that meant 'what-do-you-think'. He let out a harsh, dry breath. No water either? "That'll go away, we've seemed to figured that out, don't you remember? Hissed at everyone even when they simply glanced at your door." The only problem with all of that was that she did not remember.

"Do you know what else that means?" Hissed the demon in the next cell over. I glanced in their direction, wanting them to continue their monologue. "That you, my dear, have been given more than death's breath." The scientist let out a humorless laugh, pinning his dead eyes on her angered ones. "You haven't finished taking your stroll through hell."

I spent the night alone in my room, contemplating all that I learned from my visit. The next morning was.. Different. Wearing a black tee and a jean shorts, I ate alone before anyone; but the omegas (lowest rank werewolf), woke at the rising sun. I ate a couple fruit and a salad at a corner table. A cloud of anger and fear approached, hidden to all but me. The temperature dropped as it neared me. Pain erupted in my head as memories of the lives I've took blasted through my head painfully. I gripped the table in pain, letting out a loud growl as well. I heard two people approaching, but I stood abruptly and left my chair to fly back on to the ground. I stumbled outside, mumbling words in attempt to throw off the momories.

It didn't help.

I was set on, ready to tear the heads off any one that decided to come near me. To touch me. To look at me. "Ruby? Are you alright? Is the insanity kicking in now, mutt?" I turned my blood red eyes to look at her and she backed up a step at the change in eye color. The first girl to challenge me face-to-face. What was her name again? Brittney, did I hear? I gave a wicked smile, noting the fear cross through her eyes. "R- Ruby..?"

I attempted blinking away the black dots in my vision, holding my head like it might explode. "You make me want to tear you apart!"  The voice wasn't mine, sounding more like a scratched up record. "Do you wish for that too?!" I dug my nails into my skull, backing away from the running girl. I knew where she was going. To warn her Alpha, who ran out of the house a second later, with Jacob in toe. To their credit, they got pretty close without a warning.

"Don't touch me!" Their eyes widened, not understanding what was going on for a split second, until Jacob got it. I fought for my voice for a second, noting the start of a transformation. "Give me a name and place.. Next mission.. Now!" The alpha struggled to tear a picture from out of his pants' pocket. He showed a picture, letting me snatch it out of his grip immediately. "Mission?! Where are my arenas?!"

Alpha explained that all I needed to do was break him out of a wolf prison. First pack to the south. I memorized the photo and stuffed it into my pocket painfully. I shifted in front of them, still in control for the most part. The giant wolf's eyes lingered on the small, human figures before taking off in a roar. I immediately noted that someone was following me, but I had a plan for them. Just had to wait a second.
