We arrived at a giant mansion which is apparently the 'pack house'. Thats what they kept calling the place we were going to. They said they would let me have a room in there, but if I harmed a 'pack member' I would be back up for bid. I only chuckled at their weak threat.

Suddenly, pack members flooded out their homes to welcome their Alpha home. They were all asking questions until I stepped out of the truck, then all eyes were on me. I met them all with cold eyes, but they softened when I saw children in the group. I looked away, shutting the door slowly. When I turned back, a little six-year-old boy was standing in front of me. I nearly broke down right there.

I forced a smiled, crouching down to his level. "Hello, Little Man. What are you doing?"

"Hello!" He said, obviously happy to meet a new person. "I'm Billy-Bob! Who are you?" He ignored my question, but I let it slide.

"Hey, Bill. I'm Ruby. Nice to meet you." I shook his little hand, then stood up. "Go find your ma. Your too young to be around strangers like this." He giggled as I ruffled his blonde, curly hair and ran off. When I turned to the others, they looked surprised. They must all know who and what I am. I just repeated, "Too young."

"Who are you?" Asked a girl with disgust. I looked her up and down, subtly looking for weaknesses and strengths. She wore a short, tight skirt and a white crop top. She also wore a lot of makeup and had heels on. I guess not all of them knew about me. Oh well..

"Depends on who you ask. To the scientists, I was Project W.O.L.F. To the bidders, I was Ruby Blackheart Joy. To my opponents and enemies, I was a murderer. To those that watched the fights, I was a monster. Take your pick." I said with a shrug, crossing my arms.

"Please. You couldn't harm a fly." She said with a witch-like laugh.

I let a smirk take over my features, "Is that a challenge?"

"Yes. Yes it is."

"I accept." I let out a laugh, shaking my head at the girl's shocked expression. "Now. Who's gonna show me where I'll be staying?"

The Alpha showed me to my room and handed me some gal's clothes. He left, obviously mad that I already have been challenged. I shrugged it off and took a shower. After, I put on the clothes. Black leggings, a black knee-length dress, and a red cloak that made me look kind of like red riding hood from the stories. I placed on the tennis shoes, stepping out of the pack house. I was ready for the fight. The question was; was she?

When I got out there, she was waiting for me with a crowd that included the Alpha and Beta behind her. "You want to go now?" I asked her, who simply nodded.

"Please ladies-.." The Alpha tried to argue, but we were already in position.

She shifted first, turning to a wolf with an ugly brown color. She was half the size of my wolf, but that was a fair size, I guess. I shifted next, earning gasps from the crowd around us. I could basically see her wolf submitting now. I growled, snapping my jaws towards her. Last warning.

She growled back, jumping at me. Before she could even sink her claws in, my paw came up and hit her out of the air. In that one swipe, my claws had dug into her shoulder, leaving three claw marks. I stalked towards her like she was my prey. She was whimpering on her side, baring her neck to me as she was submiting. I let out a huff.

Weak.

I shifted back and looked straight to the Alpha. "Sorry, Alpha. I forgot to mention. I won't be submitting to you anytime soon." He growled at my statement, but I wasn't affected by it. I let out a wicked laugh. "I don't follow your rules. I don't follow any rules. Hell, the laws of nature don't even apply to me."

"There is a punishment for disrespecting the Alpha." Beta ground out, gaining my attention.

"I can outlast any punishment by you pathetic fools."

So I ended up in a silver collar in my wolf form, tied to a post in the ground.. My only visitor being that little six-year-old, Billy. We sat across from each other. Billy-Bob kept talking about his favorite memories and I listened to him go on and on.

A few minutes of the time went by as told me how he broke his wrist while riding bike, Alpha came by. I instantly growled at him with bared teeth. When he placed his hand on Billy's shoulder, I lost it. I tried to lunge at him, but was pulled back by the silver-laced rope. I still tried to lunge at him constantly until he took his hand away from the shoulder. I shook my fur and moved to the opposite side of the chain to lay down.

As soon as my eyes shut, the memories began...

I was playing in my sandbox in my front yard, playing with my best friend. I think I called her Sacie? She told me that she had to go home after asking what time it was. We said our goodbyes, then she skipped away, brushing her pink ruffled dress with each skip.

I simply giggled and continued making my sandcastle. A man that I hadn't seen before walked up to me and asked me if I liked science. Of course I did. Science included dinosaurs. He asked if I wanted to be part of a science experiment. Todler me nodded her head quickly. I giggled when he picked me up, giving me a chocolate bar from his lab coat's pocket.

Little did I know, a lot of pain was to come. I was only six. I was too young. Too young.

My eyes opened when a little body pressed into my side. I took one look at the blonde, curled hair and knew exactly who it was. I curled myself around him protectively, laying my head on his lap.

Billy-Bob is my favorite character already! 😃❤❤❤
