It wasn't too big of a distance between me pack and this new one was very short, which surprized me a little. Maybe both packs were tiny compared to most? Before I passed the barrior, I planted my front paws and lid in a U-turn of some sort. I growled at the black wolf that came to a halt slowly. Stupid Jacob. My eyes said it all, asking what the fool was doing in the presence of the unstable murderer. He gave a wolfey grin, his tail wagging slightly. I let out a huff and went through the odd sensation of passing through the pack barrier. From what I collected, only Alphas could sense the presence of an intruder. Oh well.

I ran close into their clearing where the pack buildings stood, crouching and observing the routines. I shifted in an attempt to become smaller and would stand out less. Jacob did the same right next to me. "What's the plan?" He asked in a hush whisper.

Before I could answer, a growl rumbled behind us and we turned to see the alpha. He had ocean blue eyes and brown, messy hair. He stood at about six foot and watched us with his arms crossed. "Care to explain?" I glanced at Jacob with mischievous glint in my eyes and he glanced to me at the same time, rapidly shaking his head left and right. I'll take that as a yes!

"Well, hello there, stranger! The name's Project W.O.L.F., but you can call me Ruby. I am so glad we ran into you instead of one of your soldiers!" Jacob nudged my arm, but I ignored him and smiled, showing my pointed canines. The alpha raised an eyebrow in an amused flicker. "I don't think you need to say anything to anyone! We'll just be on our way."

I walked past him about two steps, then his hand held on to my small wrist. My eyes turned red about the same time my voice changed. "Don't f*cking touch me!" I spun his arm just right, making him do a flip and land face-first into the frozen ground. I let out a growl as it tried to surface again, clutching my head and moving away from the groaning against the pain. My eyes faded again, me being back in full control even with my voice coming out the same. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way." When no one spoke about letting us do our thing, a vicious smirk spread along my lips.

I shifted, watching them stare at my insane transformation. I barked out out angry laughter, before getting into a defensive stance. I kept my head high, telling them that I wasn't afraid the fools. As soon as the first wolf shifted, I was attacking it at lightning speed. I ripped the wolf to shreds in seconds, ready to go for another one, only to be tackled by my side. My head hit the ground, making my vision blur dramatically.

The day was growing to an end, noticed by the way the people outside of the cell walked by. In all other hours of the day, the people were rushed and panicked, the girl noted. Now they were just slow and bored in comparison. She did something against rules and her owner had promised a punishment was due. And, so, she waited patiently for it.

A guard came and pulled her off the bed roughly by the arms. The strength he put into the grip would have her arm full of bruises the next day, she was sute of that. Neither spoke, not trusting each other in the slightest.

I was back in reality as soon as he tore me off the ground by my arms. I hadn't even realized I shifted back. I hated how the memory was so close to the events happening, except the burning touch of the Alpha. "Please" --I gasped out, burns flaring through my body-- "I'll follow you, but you have to let go of my arm!"

"And, now, why would I trust you?"

The room we entered in was a dead give away to what was about to happen. Knives and other weapons lined the walls, all laced with silver some way. 'They were probably warned about my weakness,' she thought with a growl. The guard left after chaining her up in an unbreakable hold. Both her arms and legs were chained to a wall, making them useless. A metal collar around to keep me from moving my head too much. Everything burned.

Pain etched into all my face's features, tears threatening to fall. "It's part of my curse! Please!" I was practically begging and he would pay for that. Everyone would pay for that. I could hear Jacob take off towards the pack house, not being seen and it made a humorless laugh bubble up inside me.

The man started by digging a silver knife into her limbs, trying out her pain tolerance. Thankfully, for her, it's very high because of the poisons that entered her blood stream. She just tensed under the blades' weight.

I was being pulled towards the prison on their land, just the place I wanted to be. I didn't show it though, still trying to tear myself out of their grip. "Fools! There is nothing you can do to me that hasn't already been done!" The Alpha glanced at me before looking forward and tightening his grip.

When he opened the door, there were immediate stairs going down a few feet. I froze at the sight, being on the edge of the first step. The pounding head ache gave me a wave of dizziness. He tried to give a small, rough nudge, but the tap was enough to send my swaying figure barreling down the stairs painfully. My vision refused to stay in focus as I laid on the main floor. The Alpha rushed down and growled at the blood seeping out of my head. 'This was your fault,' I wanted to remind him, but what would he care for the safety of the same lady that killed one of his pack members.

"Ruby!?" I heard a shout from the door, but I couldn't seem to get my eyes open again. Death would be coming, I'd suspect.

And I would welcome it.
