He felt himself get taken away by the feeling. As the pain became unbearable, he couldn't breathe. He was being suffocated and there was nothing he could do. Jungkook wasn't even thinking at this point. Everything was blurry. 

He felt as though he were dying.

He couldn't breathe.

"Jungkook!" Taehyung's voice rung through Jungkook's ears as he tried to open his eyes. He didn't make it home on time, he had collapsed just minutes after running out of Taehyung's house.

He didn't know where he was or where he was going. He just had to get away. "Jungkook- hey- you're okay." He felt soft hands grab his face as they tried to dry his tears. "It's okay. I'm here." Jungkook looked at Taehyung's eyes and felt himself forget how to breathe completely.

Taehyung's eyes reflected what he thought was worry and fear. His pupils were slightly dilated, something Jungkook learned was from fear. He was so concentrated on Taehyung's eyes that he never realized that he was slowly bringing himself back.

His chest still stung as if pressure were still being applied to his lungs. Taehyung whispered assuring words to the boy, pedestrians stopping by to watch. Jungkook managed to calm himself down with the help of Taehyung, grateful that the older was able to stop him before his attack got worse before he couldn't bring himself back.

Taheyung gulped audibly as he looked at Jungkook. Worry was painted over his face as Jungkook leaned his head back on the wall that they had been situated on. The two on the floor, cold air enveloping them. "I'm so sorry. This was all my fault I shouldn't have forced you to stay, Jungkook. I'm sorry."

Taheyung watched as Jungkook was able to recover his strength. He slowly stood up, with the help of Taheyung of course. His legs still felt foreign as he tried to regain his oxygen supply. "I'll walk you home." Jungkook shook his head and shivered. "It's alright. I-I can go by myself." Taehyung scoffed and took his jacket off, placing it over Jungkook's shoulders.

"I just want to make sure you get home safe." Jungkook clung on to the warm jacket tightly, using his sleeves to wipe his remaining tears away. "Thank you," Jungkook whispered, loud enough for Taehyung's ears to catch. "You shouldn't thank me. I got you like that in the first place."

Taheyung felt guilty as he should have been more careful over his choice of words. He knew the boy had anxiety, he just didn't know how serious it was. "You helped me calm down." Taehyung looked down at Jungkook who kept his eyes glued down to the floor. "I did?" Jungkook nodded as he sniffed. "Yeah."

The rest of the way was quiet as the two didn't know what to say to each other. The atmosphere was painfully awkward but something about it was at the same time comforting. Jungkook rang the doorbell, knowing his mother had already arrived and he usually didn't leave his house so there was no need for a key. He had one but felt like it would have been too much work to dig in his backpack for it.

The door swung open not even a second after the bell was rung. "Oh god, Jungkook!" Taehyung looked at the woman before him and sent her a smile. "I was so worried. Baby, where were you? Oh no, did you have an attack?" The woman, presumably Jungkook's mother, hugged her son tightly.

"Sorry mom," Jungkook whispered as he hugged her back. "Thank you for bringing him home. What's your name?" Taehyung nodded at her before answering. "My name is Kim Taheyung. It was my fault he came late, Miss. Jeon. " He said, bowing at her. "No worries, Taheyung. Thank you for bringing him back. Would you like to stay for dinner?" Taehyung denied respectfully as he shook his head.

"I must get going. I can stay another time, Miss. Jeon." The woman nodded and thanked Taheyung again before disappearing back into the house, leaving Taehyung and Jungkook alone once again. Jungkook was about to remove the jacket when Taheyung moved away.

"Keep it. I don't need it."

"Thank you for bringing me home."

"Anytime Jungkookie."
