"You've been bringing him home a lot lately. He's taking you away from me." Miss Jeon whined as she set down an extra plate in front of Taehyung. Smiling, Taehyung shook his head. "I wouldn't do such a thing, Miss Jeon." Jungkook rolled his eyes as he flashed Taehyung a smile. "I sure hope not." Miss. Jeon joked.

"Anyway. Tell me how did you two meet? Jungkookie here isn't too good at making new friends." Jungkook let an irritated sigh as he started to eat his dinner. "Oh, well, I need help with science and Jungkook is smart and good at it so what better person to ask." Taheyung lied. In reality, Taehyung was just trying to win the bet because he wasn't going to lose it but he had to do what he could to make them believe him.

"Interesting, that's not what Jungkook told me." Jungkook almost spit the water in his mouth as he looked at his mother with wide eyes. "But of course, I'll leave that one to you, Jungkook."

Taehyung blushed as he looked down at his half-eaten plate. Jungkook glared at his mother slightly as he wiped his mouth. "T-that's not really relevant mom." Taehyung laughed as he looked up at the bickering two. Miss. Jeon smiled back at him as she ruffled Jungkook's hair. "Tell me more about yourself, Taehyung."

Taehyung cleared his throat and made eye contact with Jungkook for a split second before looking back at his plate. "I'm the quarterback for the school's football team. I babysit my nephew on the weekends and I guess that's it." He chuckled at the end of his so-called description of his life. "I'm not that interesting."

Miss. Jeon nodded slightly picking at her food. "What do your parents do?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow as he looked at his mother. Why was she being so nosey? "My mother is a secretary and my father is a pilot." Jungkook was silent, listening in on every word that came out of Taehyung's mouth. He had never asked Taehyug about his personal life until this very moment where his mother was. "You don't see your father much then?" Taehyung shrugged and nodded. "Yeah but it's always been that way. "

Jungkook looked down at his plate and started to play with his food. He slightly pushed his plate feeling his hunger disappear. Taheyung noticed the tension in the air as he gulped down his water. "I see," was all she said back.
