NanaJungkook avoided everyone the following day. Hoseok and Yoongi were always near him, making sure the kid was okay.
Taehyung was a different story. It was evident the boy had had a rough night. He looked horrible really. He was unrecognizable. His eyes were red and slightly puffy, his hair absolutely distraught as he didn't do it that morning.
He was out of it but he knew it was his fault.
He shouldn't have made the bet.
Jungkook wanted to cry. He wanted to sob right then and threw in the middle of the school entrance. He noticed that he had been waiting, a habit of his that he forgot he didn't have to do anymore.
The second he locked eyes with Taehyung, he turned his heel and left the school building.
He couldn't stop the tears that came after since he had just seen his ex with banana milk in his hand.
His favorite.
Jungkook knew he had to get over him. There was no reason to stay if he wasn't wanted in the first place. He had to walk home, his ride now also his ex. The cold breeze hit him as he wiped away his tears.
Jungkook had then also noticed that he took the car rides for granted. Jungkook had expected to stay. He was promised many things.
"You're crazy if you think I'm going to do that." Taehyung rolled his eyes and tugged on Jungkook's arm. "First of all it's our two month anniversary and second of all, it's Friday. Come on babe, have some fun!" Jungkook huffed and tried to plant himself in the sand that covered the beach.
"First of all," he started in a matter of fact voice. "Couples celebrate year anniversary's not month anniversaries." Taehyung smiled and placed both hands on his lovers waist. "So what if I want to celebrate month anniversaries? I'll make each one interesting. I promise." Jungkook giggled and nodded, planting a small kiss on his boyfriends lips.
Taehyung took this distraction as an opportunity to swoop Jungkook of his feet and carry him gracefully. "No- Tae! Stop!" Taehyung grinned in victory as he carried his boyfriend near the body of water. "Got your phone on ya?" Jungkook tried to free himself from Taehyung's grip but was clearly of no use.
Jungkook gasped as the cold water started to attach itself to his clothes, making him heavy. Taehyung laughed as he dropped the younger into the water.
"Taehyung!" Jungkook exclaimed as he emerged from the water, clothes now heavy and sticking to his body. He pushed the wet hair away from his eyes and pushed Taehyung down into the water, snickering along the way. This had then started their war in water fights.
Jungkook sighed as he walked away from his house and decided he needed some time for himself at his spot near the river.
