-Pin's POV-

Pin never sat down... The anger inside him kept him on his feet.

How could he hit such a sweet child?.... and why?.... Tobuscus.... how could he ever be friends with the guy?... maybe he knows why... I don't know... I'll take anything right now...

Pin took his phone out of his coat pocket and dialled Tobuscus' number. He tapped his foot quickly as he waited for Tobuscus to pick up.

"Come on.. come on..." he whispered.

"What is it?" Tobuscus' angry voice said, shocking Pin.

"Tobuscus, I called to ask you something..."

Tobuscus waited for the question.

"Well!?" He yelled after a few seconds of silence.

"Oh, I was waiting for you to answer- never mind. How do you know this guy? Is he a guy you met at a coffee shop or something?" Pin asked.

Tobuscus sighed.

"Pin....." Tobuscus said depressingly.

"What's wrong?" Pin quickly asked.

"I have something to tell you. I'm going to sound crazy, but I swear to you, I am not lying."

"Okay, what is it?"

"Me and that creature aren't friends... the truth is...."

"What!?" Pin yelled in desperation, catching many animals' attention.

"That creature wiped your memory of a very special friend!" Tobuscus announced.

Special friend?... how could I forget a special friend? He's messing with me! He's trying to get me back from not letting him go! That little dirtbag!

"You're lying, Tobuscus. Tell me the truth!" Pin demanded.

"I am!" Tobuscus yelled, "I told you it would be hard to believe! Noah is the friend he erased! Noah was one of your best friends! I didn't tell you earlier because you were... so happy. Happier than I have ever seen you this last month..."

This last month? What?! This isn't funny!

"I don't understand!" Pin yelled again.

"Pin, Noah died a month ago. We held his funeral just a few days ago. This creature wiped all your memories of him after Jasper's 'Cheer Up' party," Tobuscus explained.

"How come my memory was the only one erased?"

"You weren't. Everyone's was except for mine. I was shielded."

Yeah, okay! The chosen one or whatever, right? Heh, I bet he's going to tell me his grandfather was Hercules!

"How were you shielded?"

"Honestly, I don't know. But what I do know about that high-pitched thief is that he has taken the memories of one of our most important friends, and that we need to get those back! Those memories are filled with adventures! You would have never found Jasper in those woods if Noah had never told you he heard something all those years ago, Animalia would still be a black and white town of nothingness if he never retrieved the Orb of Life, The Dark Mix would have taken over the world, and so much more! He has done amazing things in our lives that you don't even realize, Pin!"

Pin sat there, more frozen than a statue itself. A swarm of memories re-introduced themselves into Pin's mind. He remembered! Not only did the memories come back, but so did the sadness...

*sniff!*

"Tobuscus."

"Yeah, Pin?"

"I-I remember..."

"Hot dog! I mean— I don't know... it's a good thing and it isn't... I can't really describe it..."

"Yeah.... but I'm glad I know. I'm glad I remember such an amazing friend... I'm sorry I doubted you..."

"You're fine. Honestly, I wouldn't have believed me either."

Pin and Tobuscus laughed.

"Does anyone else remember?" Pin asked.

"Just Willow and Sophie."

"Alright... then there's only one thing left to do."

"Defeat The Memory Thief?" Tobuscus suggested.

"I like that, yeah. Time to defeat that psychotic, abusive, scaled, no-good Memory Thief! Ya hear that Willow and Sophie!" Pin yelled.

Willow and Sophie each took out an earbud.

"What was that, Sherlock?" Sophie asked.

"I said are you ready!?"

"Yeah, I guess so..." Sophie said, before putting the earbud back in.

"Thank you, Tobuscus. You did a lot more than you think," he said before hanging up.

I don't know why I am so psyched to find this Memory Thief, probably the medications, but I know we can do it! I just hope he doesn't erase another memory....

"You have arrived at Wingington!" Announced a lady over the speakers of the train.

Alright, let's do this!
