-Tobuscus' POV-
As they arrived at Jasper's house, they noticed his mother was setting up balloons by the front door. The balloons said, "Get well soon".
I guess there must not be a specific balloon to cheer up parties after a death of a friend.... Maybe I should start that....yeah....I'd make millions! I'll get Nelson to help me out. Pretty sure he's unemployed forever!
"Hey, guys! Wait, where's Kityan?" Jasper's mom asked.
"She didn't want to come," replied Tobuscus.
"Oh. I see... well come on in! I have a table full of delicious foods!"
When they all went in, they were greeted by a smile from none other than Detective Pin.
"Uncle Popcorn!" Jasper cheered, charging at Pin with a hug.
Geez. I've never known how much I missed Pin's smile. This is the first time he smiled since... the phone call...
"Hey, guys," Pin greeted.
"What made you want to come?" Aspen asked, also running over to hug him.
"I thought about what you guys said. I can't get better without the help from my friends. A cheer up party sounded like a perfect idea. Oh, yeah.... I'm sorry for yelling at you two... I just get like that sometimes..."
Jasper squeezed Pin harder.
"It's okay, Uncle Popcorn. Nothing can break our friendship!"
"Hey," Pin said, "where's Kityan?"
How many times am I going to have to explain about Kityan not wanting to go?
"She didn't feel up for it," Tobuscus explained.
"Oh..."
"Yes, nice to see you. That turkey sounds pretty phenomenal right now," Willow randomly said.
"Oh!" Jasper's mom said, "of course! Dig in!"
15 Minutes Later~
"And then I was like, 'Noah, you're just an Orange Tabby. What makes you think you could knock out anyone who came charging at us.' Noah then did a funny stance.
'I know karate,' he said!" Sophie explained.
Everyone laughed.
"What a goofball," Aspen said.
Pin looked at his watch.
"Sorry guys, looks like I got to get going," Pin announced.
"Aww..." Jasper and Aspen said.
"Thank you for coming," Jasper said.
"Thank you for helping me feel better," Pin said, putting on his detective hat from the rack.
*click!*
Pin was out.
Sophie jumped in her seat.
