-Tobuscus' POV-

As Tobuscus was sitting on his couch talking to his brother on the phone, Nelson, about some dreams that they had, another incoming call came in.

"Oh! Sorry, Nelson, I've got another call coming in. I'll call you back later."

"Okay, Tobuscus. Sorry for your loss!—"

Tobuscus switched to the incoming call.

"Hello?" Tobuscus said.

"Tobuscus, it's me, Pin!"

"Pin? Why are you calling me from a different phone number?"

"Cool story, actually. I tackled the Memory Thief which broke my phone in the process."

"You caught the Memory Thief!?" Tobuscus exclaimed.

"Yeah! We're coming back now! Be ready! Get the gang together!"

"Okay! That's fantastic!"

"Yup. I've got to go though. I'm getting my ticket for the train. See you then!"

*boop!*

Tobuscus hung up.

He couldn't hold in his excitement!

Finally, Kityan will remember and so will everyone else. I won't be crazy anymore!

Tobuscus rushed out of his house to go to the train station. On the way, Tobuscus called Kityan and Jasper and Aspen's parents to meet him at the train station.

After a few minutes of waiting at the wooden train station alone, Tobuscus saw five familiar figures.

"Hey, guys!" He called.

They looked around, but Aspen noticed Tobuscus and pointed at him. When they finally got over to him, Tobuscus explained everything. Granted, he didn't know much, but he explained what he knew.

"Wow! They got him! Yay!" Jasper cheered.

"Yeah! That's so cool!" Aspen agreed.

"That's super strange that we've forgotten such an important person," Jasper and Aspen's mother said.

"Yeah. Almost as strange as when I forgot to take my hourly hand sanitizer," their father added.

*achoooo!*

Tobuscus turned his back to see that the Wingington train was approaching.

"They're here!" Tobuscus announced with excitement.

All of them ran over to the ramp.

*screech!!*

Tobuscus watched as the train stopped and the sliding doors open.

Pin, Willow, and Sophie came walking out with the Memory Thief handcuffed.

"What's up, guys?" Pin greeted.

Everyone cheered for their arrival.

"It's a good thing we caught him when we did. He was about to go to a science lab all the way in Lopicata," Pin explained.

Just then, Tobuscus remembered something that the Memory Thief said to him before he erased their minds, "Because I need this opportunity your friend took from me!"

"Hey, Uh, creature guy," Tobuscus said.

The Memory Thief slowly looked at Tobuscus but turned his head to the ground.

"What was it that Noah took from you?"

The Memory Thief looked up quickly.

"What!?" He said.

"Before you erased everyone's mind of Noah and who else, I asked you why you were doing this, and you said, 'Because I need this opportunity your friend took from me!'."

He didn't say anything for a second, but what could he lose for telling them?

"Noah, he was my lab partner in Collage. We were the best scientist/inventors in the whole state," The Memory Thief explained, "but, uh, one day we were both offered a job as the assistant for the world's greatest scientist, Fred Wheeler. He could only have one of us though, so he put us through tests. Noah and I were tied up. 49-49–"

"Wait!? You guys did 98 tests?!" Kityan asked in astonishment.

"Sshhh!!" Everyone shushed.

"Anyway, the tie-breaker was up. Who could make the best morph potion. He burned himself on a failed experiment, so he wanted to get back to his old self. After many sleepless nights, Noah and I finished our own potions. The scientist drank both of ours. He took mine first which turned him into..... into what you see I am. He hated it! He quickly grabbed Noah's and hoped it was better.... it was.... it was so much better. I must have screwed up my ingredients because Noah's turned him into a perfect slim lizard. Just as he wanted. He hired Noah on the spot, and threw my potion at me which turned me into this. Unfortunately, there is no antidote, so I'm stuck this way. After a few months, Noah quit to retire in Animalia."

Dang! I had no idea Noah was such a brilliant mastermind! I guess that explains his little lab under his house...

"That made me so angry. I vowed from there that I would create a memory-stealing machine after Noah died so that the scientist would never remember Noah, and he would assume he hired me since I was the only candidate."

"And you finally invented it," Willow suggested.

"Yeah."

"I think I have the antidote," Jasper announced.

Everyone looked at Jasper.

"What!?" He said in astonishment.

"I have the antidote. Noah made it. I found it when we were in his lab. It looked cool, so I took it."

"Jasper!" His Mom yelled.

"Sorry, Uncle Mom.... it just looked so cool."

"How do you know its the antidote?!" The Memory Thief asked.

"Because I found a note attached to the bottom. It said, 'to my dearest friend, Moses. I'm sorry I got the job instead of you. I hope this will make up for it. -Noah.'. You clicked my memory when you mentioned he took your job."

Moses looked at the ground.

"May I have it?"

"If you promise to bring back Noah's memory," Jasper said.

"...fine," he gave in.

They took the Moses to the tower he built to steal Noah's memory.

Tobuscus and Moses climbed to the top.

"Ready?" Moses asked.

"Yeah," Tobuscus said.
