Chapter Fourteen: The Antidote

Starring: Pin, Jasper, Aspen, Tobuscus, Kityan, Willow, and Sophie

-Aspen's POV-

"I can't wait to remember this Noah guy," Jasper said.

"You know he died, right?" Aspen asked.

"Oh, yeah..... well I'm sure we had some great memories together!" Jasper said positively.

Aspen watched as the sky gathered dark clouds from above her.

*zap!*

Suddenly, memories went surging through Aspen's brain. Tears flooded down her cheek just like when she got adopted.

She opened her eyes. Everyone was drenched in tears.

I wonder how Pin is doing? Is he okay?

Aspen put an arm around Pin's shoulders. To Aspen's surprise, he was smiling.

"Pin? Are you okay?" She asked.

"He was an amazing cat," he said.

*sniff!*

Aspen saw Tobuscus and Moses slide down the ladder.

Kityan ran up and hugged Tobuscus.

"I'm sorry I didn't believe you!" She yelled, shivering with unsettlement.

"It's okay, Kit. I understand."

Moses tapped Jasper's shoulder.

"Can I get the antidote now, please?" He asked.

"Oh, yeah! Come with me!"

Jasper took the gang to his house where he was keeping the antidote.

"Just hold on a second. I'll be back!" Jasper explained, running inside with his parents.

When this is all over, I call playing with the Lighting Man figures!

"Is this newsworthy?" Tobuscus asked Kityan.

"My crew is already on their way over," Kityan laughed.

Jasper came running out of his house with a small blue jar. Moses quickly grabbed it from Jasper.

*gulp!*

He drank it all in one gulp.

Suddenly, his body started to change. A black furry tail emerged from his backside. Also, black ears.

"You're a cat!?" Aspen asked in astonishment.

"Yup! A black tabby, to be exact!"

Pin quickly cuffed Moses.

"What the heck!?" Moses yelled.

"No matter the reason, it was still illegal."

Everyone laughed, but Moses.

Kityan's camera crew arrived during the laughter, along with Pin's boss.

"Boss!?" Pin asked in astonishment.

"Hey, Pin. Heard you were here. Just came to congratulate you. I was sitting in my living room watching a movie when a surge of memories came in from Noah. Isn't that interesting? Anyway, I knew you were close to him, so I'm going to give you a paid three-week vacation to anywhere you want. How's that sound?" He asked.

Pin jumped with excitement.

"Seriously!? Fantastic! I've always wanted to go to the Bahamas!" Pin announced.

"Great! That's where I had my honeymoon. Also, congratulations to the rest of you too. You probably saved the world from a lot of harm," he said.

"We'd do anything for our friends," Pin explained.

"That's great. Anyway, I've got to get going. I have some paperwork to get through. See you in three weeks!"

Just as Pin's boss left, the camera crew finished setting up, and they pressed the record button.

Tobuscus went over to Willow.

"Hey," he said.

"Hey," Willow said.

They sat in silence for a few seconds until Tobuscus asked,

"D-Do you want to get d-dinner sometime?" Tobuscus asked nervously.

"Haha. Are you asking me on a date?"

Tobuscus cleared his throat.

"Yes, I am."

"Well.... how does Thursday night at Bourgers sound?"

"7:00?" Tobuscus asked.

"7:00," she repeated.

"How cute. Anyway," Kityan laughed, "Hello, I'm Kityan. From the last week, we have experienced some crazy events. Let's have an interview with the man who started it all, Moses. Aka, The Memory Thief!"
